  • @paulspagetti

Damn you! How can you insult such an amazing love story! You wouldn't know romance if it slapped you in the face.

  • wtf romeo & Juliet is pathetic not romantic

  • 'lie uncovered on the bier': and Juliet is shrouded. Nice. I love these things, but they're a little--terrible. : )

  • LOL Romeo does the robot during the fight

  • That plan the guy had made up is sure to go wrong

  • MARRY ME JUILIET YOU'LL NEVER HAVE TO BE ALONE, I LOVE YOU AND THATS ALL I REALLY KNOW. I TALKED TO YOUR DAD, YOU'LL PICK OUT A WHITE DRESS, IT'S A LOVE STORY, BABY JUST SAY YES!

    ~Taylor Swift

  • Arent they both meant to be 14 or something? thats what my english teacher said .... Underage sex tut tut!! XD

  • pardon me, but Romeo is a jerk... >.<

  • @JuzefaWingedCat Yep! I totally agree..... =/

  • EPIC Mercutio

  • I wish I was at 4:32 to make it a three some. BRAVO ROMEO

  • Count, not County, seriously! And why's Mercutio wearing eye shadow of all things? Seriously?!

  • nice

  • I wonder if i could grow my hair that long. (:

  • @ 2:19 who noticed the person in blue has eyeshadow?

  • heya!! Guys, if you have time, would u be so kind to take a look at my channel! I performed "what is a youth" acapella. thanks in advance! Xoxo

  • "Then I shall defy you stars, stars, stars, stars, stars..." Ha ha ha!

  • I love how they're around 13-15 and Juliet doesn't even have to be pregnant to be married. xD

  • uhh what happened to "ask for me tomorrow and you shall find me a grave man..."

  • I remember watching this in seventh grade. I never looked at cartoons the same way again...

    O.o

  • @MangaObsessed29 they have an animated version of midsummer nights dream! It is from the same company! The company is (believe it or not) BBC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In the search bit on the website, put ' Shakespeare Trageties' thxxxxx

  • wat een kk filmpje!!!

  • It's funny how Mercutio calls Tybalt a "Rat-Catcher". I read on wikipedia that when he calls him either "King of Cats" or just "Cat". he's refering to the italian word "Cazzo" which can mean "penis" in English. So in a way, Mercutio is calling Tybalt both a p****y and a d*** at the same time!

  • Lord Capulet's such a you-know-what for talking like that to his own daughter!

  • i never read in the book tht they had s*x

    but sad sad story

  • @ImTheStarTonight no one is acually sure if they REALLY did it.

  • @ImTheStarTonight It is implied in act 5 scene 3, the last night they spend together before Romeo is sent away.

  • @Nicole3900 hey do you knoe what quoate her dad says when she tells her that she has to marry paris or else she will have to leave home? exact words>>??

  • @sTOoPiDSHIDd Act III, Scene 5. "Hang thee, young baggage! Disobedient wretch! I tell thee what: get thee to church o' Thursday, Or never after look me in the face. Speak not. Reply not. Do not answer me. My fingers itch.—Wife, we scarce thought us blest

That God had lent us but this only child,

But now I see this one is one too much

And that we have a curse in having her.

    Out on her, hilding!"

  • @sTOoPiDSHIDd Here's a modern translation of Act 3 Scene 5 from Sparknotes: "Forget about you, you worthless girl! You disobedient wretch! I’ll tell you what. Go to church on Thursday or never look me in the face again. Don’t say anything. Don’t reply. Don’t talk back to me. I feel like slapping you. Wife, we never thought ourselves blessed that God only gave us this one child. But now I see that this one is one too many. We were cursed when we had her. She disgusts me, the little hussy!"

  • i was thinking-never mind

  • Why does Mercutio have eyeshadow and lipstick on???

  • @Jakegothicsnake in the story he's the relative of the prince of Verona.

  • @moonprincess500 I know that, but that doesn't really answer my question on why he's wearing make-up like a pretty woman. Unless you mean to say that around that time italian men of royalty wore make-up.......

  • boreing.

  • Our Teacher was laffing at the sex bit lmao!

  • wtf was this doing in my bookmarks?

  • let day in and let life out

  • if you think about it, every death in Romeo&Juliet is Romeo's fault. Mercucio is stabbed under Romeo's arm because he got in the way, Tybalt is killed by Romeo in vengence for Mercucio, Paris is killed by Romeo, Lady Montegue kills herself because Romeo is banished, Romeo dies because he kills himself and Juliet dies because Romeo killed himself. See what ya did there, Romeo? Yeah, 6 people dead beacuse of you.

  • @SailorJupiter07 if u luv sum1 very much u think u wudnt do that!

  • ya i know

  • Mmm. I don't rmb any sex going on.

    "THEN I DEFY YOU STARS!"

    Wow. Cool.

  • .. LOL my teach forwarded tthe sex bit so i came t youtube 2 figure wat it wa.s..

  • hahaha i remember we saw this when i was a fourth grade...it was very scandelous, lol.

  • Hey Mrs Mcgivern! it's Brandon!

  • Why is everyone bothered about whether or not a teacher would fast forward the 'sex' bit.

Hardly raunchy is it? You see a bit of chest, big whoop.

  • @SpideyGirl92 its just the way the world is. Some think children can't handle some things or they won't behave approiatley

  • @SpideyGirl92 woah! There's a sex scene?! I didn't read THAT in my English textbook. lmao

  • @SpideyGirl92 immature teenagers these days i tell you

  • lol wen we saw it im 12 she did not fast foward the sex part

  • im ten we watched it today and she fast forwarded it! lol :(

  • At the time this was written, there was a great feeling of dislike in England for the hot-blooded richer families of Italy, so Shakespeare was commissioned by Elizabeth I to write a play encapsulating the pointlessness of the brawls between the noble houses of Rome. So Shakespeare wrote Romeo and Juliet, both to show the feelings of England, and to please his queen.

  • i love R and J its just Pro!

  • my favourite shakespeare play is romeo & juliet cuz it's a love story and i love romantic things

  • @SIMPLETO22 Same here

  • When our class watched it in P6 our teacher didn't ski the sex bit either

  • @TubaMaverick

have u lost it there r kids watching this

  • @suha8349 i was kidding.

  • it really is amazing how Shakespere wrote these amazing plays that are still remembered today.truly amazing.

im imagining that Romeo and Juliet is the most famous of his plays.

  • @SasuketheGlaceon yeah but my favorite is midsummer's night dream

  • I watched this in English class today... im in gr 8... my teacher fast forwarded the sex parts though..XD

  • we wacthed it to,but she didnt fasst forward that part......

when that part was on,all the guys in my class said this

    "Romeo,sorce!!"

  • ironduckman1: Shakespeare animated is made for children.

  • "When he shall die, take him and cut him out in little stars. And he will make the face of heaven so fine. That all the world will be in love with night and pay no worship to the garish sun".

  • that was so bad for so many reasons....

  • love it but they were to carry mercutio into a house not belonging to anyone they know then he were to die. plus the Prince states that he is cousin to Mercutio.

  • what!!!

  • really iknow never to lie and i have read the play many a time i have Shakespeare complete collection
