Nope-it's just because they're already deployed in Germany and a shift-back to the US is far to expensive. Do you have any idea what a trip of a regiment/battalion-sized group costs?

In addition, do you know that every German has at least 5 years of Engl in school (at the lowest school level)?

It's actually vice versa; US citizens don't learn foreign languages. That's why my American soldiers get nervous when I fleuntly speak one of my 4 languages while they, in return, remain silent
