I just bought the LCS-25 Level 2 charger from ClipperCreek for $1000 and installed it myself. Leviton also sells a Level 2 charger you can install yourself for around $1200.
what the... he is from???? cause our custom install went through the basement, up through the house into the bath room and then into the garage... this guy is from where now...
I can already see these charging stations being used as a selling point for a given house on the market. Can people have one installed without being part of the Nissan LEAF program?
@malgacho I'm pretty positive that AV can install one without you buying a LEAF, but I'm not sure what the process there would be. There are also now about 6 or 7 other EV home charging solution providers out there too, including Leviton, Schneider Electric, Eaton, Coulomb, Ecotality, and Evatran. Leviton in particular has a "pre-wire" system that would allow a new home builder to install the necessary wiring during construction, allowing a future charge station to simply be plugged in.

Very informative video, thanks.
I'd like to see this type of inspections starting in Portugal.
