  • lol so much hate. cant we all just get a bong?

  • @iluvrandomnames i agree lol

  • @iriesoaringeagle ur a hatr dude!

  • @iriesoaringeagle ur a hater dude!

  • @TimBalajadia actualy no i love dreads more then profiting from destroying dreads johnny rips u off at every turn do u realize he charges 10 bucks for accelerator and u can make almost 400 biottles yourself for 2? yesa i hate seeing dreads destroyesd i hate seeing dreadheads ripped off but its the love of dreads that makes me hate a scammer

  • ummmm yeah so ive been useing like a was out wax (the stuff from bed heads thats more like cream) to keep them together but its washes out in the shower do you think thats ok? or should i stop? (there getting alittle better)

  • so i have a new video up about my dreads and i need i help..i cant order wax off the web and my mom wont do it for me ..my dreads are not holding a tease and the roots and ends are givein trouble is there anything i can do to save them?

  • @iriesoaringeagle i dont need anyone for creating my own opinions.. so be silent, if you dont like it - dont buy it and dont support it

  • Now that's clever

  • Jeez, leave KnottyJonny alone, your diction is completely unnecessary, dude. And KnottyJonny! I love your videos, they've helped me out a lot =)

  • Hot damn! ive had locks for 3 years now, i ordered your kit to put them in and havent really visited DHHQ since. fast forward, i am getting married in 2 months so i need my dreads looking tops, so i visit the site to order up a dread tool (broke one 2 years ago, lost the other one) and some lock peppa and low and behold a NEW dread tool AND the dread docta, im so happy i can finally get rid of the lumps i have, plus the one twisted zigzag i have

placing an order as we speak, thanks JC

  • wow interesting...I am a new customer of the dreadheadHQ, I have not used their wax however. (I used knottyboy, don't know if wax is "wax", although I've read dread wax is different) ANYWAY...I googled some dreadlock related word and I remember stumbling into iriesoaringeagle's forums.....I must say that I don't know how many anti-wax dread websites there are, but that to me seems to be the TOP one. Interesting how this debate will go.

  • wow... this looks usefull. thanks for tip Johny. I was gripped with fear from bumps and loops, I am glad that i can do something with them!

  • @Fusion2222 your being sarcastic i assume?

loops and bumps mean dreads are dreading you use his tool your dreads will fall right off

  • @iriesoaringeagle if you are not too stupid, you can do no harm to your dreads. Still i am fan of Johnny, thanks to his videos, i got many usefull tips about care for my dread-babies:)

  • @Fusion2222 johnny is the worst person to get dread advice from if you want yours to last more than 3 months. the tool is harmful if you use it at all thats it. stabbing dreads over and over with a pointy stick obviously isnt good for them. maybe johnny should save time and just sell dread wigs that look exactly the same with no personality, seems like thats what all his buddies want anyway.

  • @dreadyEm i will try it, and i will create my own opinion instead obeying tips from frustrated freaks

  • haha he said Practice Safe Poking. LOL

  • hey johnny just do the debate, no need to fear the truth about your amazing wax right? its just scary to think your 'peeps' might learn something along the way huh? nobodys hating on you just trying to get the truth out there to save dreads.

  • @iriesoaringeagle I've already told you what type of well documented, permanent debate I will participate in. If you wish to hold some other type of hate-on-wax-fest on your site you'll do it without me. You can pass your stale lies around as long as you like. Regardless you'll get an invitation to participate in a real debate and you can or not. I really don't care either way. Peace.

  • @iriesoaringeagle Ok, well if you can't take my offer to the other web masters then I will - my guess is that you're just trying to drum up members for you board. I can't blame you for trying but I'm interested in settling a dispute. I'm sorry for wasting your time. I'll get an email together and your site will be contacted and have a chance to participate like the others. Have a good day. -KJC

  • @iriesoaringeagle ...you guys are to agree on an email address that I will use to contact you. You will all collaborate and speak for the anti-wax community as a whole. I won't be debating one person - I will be debating your community. Is that clear? All emails will be posted publicly on my site and on all the anti-wax sites. Then when it's settled it will be settled for good. This is the only way I'll sacrifice the time to do this - it has to last - it has to be done for good.

  • @KnottyJonnyClean nothing will be hidden in email everything will be out in the open foir the world to see

  • @iriesoaringeagle DO YOU WANT TO THROW AROUND UNFOUNDED ACCUSATIONS OR DO YOU WANT TO DEBATE? Not only has nobody asked and been denied....but not one person has taken us up on our Guarantee in 10 Years. That's right, we have an open guarantee that if you follow our instructions and process we guarantee your hair will lock. Nobody has taken us up on this because our kit WORKS.

The emails will be seen and "open to the world" because they will be posted on every anti-wax site. I insist on this.

  • @iriesoaringeagle I really want to believe that you're not flat out lying to me but I can't understand why not one single customer, out of all these supposed disappointed customers, hasn't gotten in touch with me in 10 YEARS. It makes no sense at all. I'll participate in a debate but its not going to be a rock throwing contest on someones message board. It will be by email and you and your friends can write the responses together. I'll send the initial email to any address you guys choose.

  • @iriesoaringeagle Funny you mention that - cause I regularly work with customers that started out on an anti-wax message board and are fed up with not getting the results they were after - they're trying to fix the mess they've got so they can get them started right. I help them through it & they write me months later letting me know how awesome their dreads have turned out. That's what I encounter - I don't want to call u a lier but this doesn't add up - ur experience & mine is total opposite.

  • @KnottyJonnyClean the reason your experience and mine dont add up is because you are a flat out liar thats wghy you lieabout the damage you cause yiou lie about your satisfied customers you lie about wax not buuilding up yopu just lie for s living again we chakllange you to a debate do you acceopt or are you scared

  • @iriesoaringeagle So you say, but it's really easy to call someone a liar, it's much harder to make factual points and debate real topics. I've spent time on debates in the past and it was a waste of time. If you want a real debate I'll give it to you - the time it will take will be stolen from my customers so I'm going to make sure that the matters are truly settled. I'll want a written agreement from each of the web masters that the full transcription will appear on each of the anti-wax sites

  • @iriesoaringeagle The big problem with all your accusations is that DreadHeadHQ has a growing customer base of satisfied peeps with dreads so phat and healthy they'll make you wanna slap ya mama. Many of us have had our dreads for several years, some for as long as 10 years. 10 yrs is how long we've been helping people get the dreads they want. I'm sorry you're not down with dreads like mine - they're what I wanted - & I'm quite content helping my customers achieve the dreads they want as well.

  • @iriesoaringeagle Not me personally but I am a dirty fucker

  • @iriesoaringeagle

Your definitely entitled to your opinion man but i think you've become way too obsessed about this. Like starting a whole website dedicated to bringing down johnny clean and flooding his comments page

  • @afroguy78 the sites noy dedicated to bringing down johnny at all in fact id love him to stay in bussiness if he simply stopoped selling harmful products and stopped the lies and scumbag marketting the sites dedicated to just the truth of dreads and saving dreads from mistakes like wax felting dreadperms crochet and interlocking were also dedicated to ficxing the messes caused by wax etc and most of all to healthy dreads without a pricetag or proffit motive

  • ok im tired of talking to johnny who will never admit the harm hes done we have challanged him to a debate on dreadlockssite dotcom and all are welcome to come there for the real truth about dreads..dreads that arent sticky weak or destroyed and johnyy yoir welcome to we really want to debate you on all your lies

  • @iriesoaringeagle wax is better than god. Why don;'t you use it it is sooo good. Other dreadlocks are dirty. All different shapes are nasty like you cant be bothered to look after yourself. Probably would smell of urine as well.

  • @lumpybruisychickeny1 youve got to be kidding most waxy dreads ate cut in 3-4 years even johnny dirty's dreads never lasted longer then that.. wax traps dirt it never comes out they get stiff sticky and moldy ive had my dreads 20 years now becouse wax has never touched them no waxy dreads ever last that long because they get gross do your research wax is the leading cause of dreads being cut try dreadlockssite dotcom for real truth

  • Cock monkey

  • @lumpybruisychickeny1 ah now i understand why you think wax is good,... you must be 12?

  • johny your pathetic the worlds learning how you lie and destroy dreads this dread docta for instance is total dread destruction.. the entire dread world knows your a scammer only newbies are still gullible enough to fall for your crap

  • @iriesoaringeagle lol you're awesome..."i know 10s of thousands" REALLY??....man that's FANTASTIC! - Check this dood out here, he knows 10s of thousands of (people I guess) - not just 2 thousand or 8 thousand but "10s" so maybe like 20 or 30 THOUSAND -- MAN!! -- that sure is A LOT -look, forget all the shtuff I said in my Vlogs cuase this guy must be right!!!- I mean, he "knows 10s of THOUSANDS" of people that laugh at overwaxed dreads & cut'em. Oh, btw, u should tell'em all not to overwax!! =]

  • @iriesoaringeagle Umm yea totally...that's why we grow each year by word-of-mouth alone and have thousands (literally count'em) of amazing customer dread pics on our site - people hate our products sooo much they tell all their friends that were tha best.

You really should get your head on straight and stop the hate - it's a total buzz kill brah!

  • @iriesoaringeagle Actually it's interesting that you feel the need to lie right here in everyones face. If you look us up you'll see that exactly two (2) complaints have been filed in the 10+ years we've been in business. I'll follow up and see if I can resolve those - occasionally customers will send mail to an old address and we never get it. Any any case I'd say that pretty much backfired on ya buddy. Thanks for making it obvious who's lying! =]

  • your dreads look awesome

  • Hey Johnny , Why don't you come clean about the 888 complaints that have been filed against your company with the Better Business bureau?

  • i like ur vids

  • jonnys a good man

  • i kind of wish mine would start getting all bumpy lol backcombed mine like 8 months ago and they stayed straight pretty much

  • @iriesoaringeagle Um yea...sorry brah the facts are stacked against you. The list of dreadheads sporting dreads they love after getting help from dreadheadhq grows daily. I'm not sure who's lies you bought but you need to checkity-check your facts before you end up looking the fool - Love n' Respect

  • johny you are the worse person alive to give advice on dreads since you are personaly responcible for tens of thousands of dreads being cut in the 1st few years stop lying for profit

  • Hello Captain jack sparrow.

  • @ProfessorLongbottom lol Thanks =]

  • Is there anyway to increase the amount of volume in one's dreads?

  • Good videos make more! awsome dreads

  • @369manshefine Thanx man - will do =]

  • Cant wait to get mine!! I soo need it!

  • rad vid ... i've had my lox almost 6 years and have gone back and fourth using products .. and then just letting them do what they're gonna do ...that little tool of yers will surely be helpful for some of my my more mangey dreads ...thanks!

  • Natural dreads are so much more purposeful. Over maintenance takes away from the true meaning of the dedication to dreadlocks. It's not about how much dedication you have to be meticulous about them but rather how long you can let them mature into what they naturally want to do. Your dreads look good i have to admit but the super clean look is not my style. I went through the stage where I wanted your products but then I realized nothing is as good as time and letting go.

  • People get dreads for all different reasons, I like some of my dreads that are a little crazy lookin, but some stuff is just grungy lookin. The hobo-hippie look is not for me, I prefer mine looking more well groomed. I loved all my dreadhead products, and if I hadn't used them in addition to a crochet hook, I would have most likely shaved off my dreads, I just don't like lookin grungy, and females appreciate a man with well groomed dreads.

  • I'm glad you've decided what dreads are for you - please enjoy your dreads anyway you like - and please try to be understanding of others if they don't happen to agree with the "chaos is natural perfection" point of view - dreadlocks can be an art form or an experiment and each of us get to decide how we enjoy our dreadlocks =]

  • johny the entitr dread community (excepyt clueless newbies you havent scammed yet) concider you the enemy of dreads, you sell practices and produfcts that destroy dreads and you use the scummiest marketing possible the dreads you advocate look fake, not dreads at all just waxy candles and never last please stop ruining dreads intentionaly

  • @iriesoaringeagle You're going to have a hard time convincing JT and the these other guys (and girls) that have had dreads for 9 & 10 years now...that they are newbies. You need to rethink you path man. I'm helping people get what they want - healthy dreadlocks that look exactly how they want - they don't have to be smooth and perfect - that's a choice they make - not the products. I'm not really sure why you've got an issue w/ me but the stuff you say is so far off it's funny.

    Love n' Respect

  • dont even pay any attention to dude, hes just a hater, haters hate because theyre jelous, bored or just full of hate.

  • @KnottyJonnyClean man, soaringeagle made a forum that i found useful. he advocates it as a peaceful, accepting forum but treats people that don't dread their hair the natural way different than the ones who do, and thinks he knows what's best all the time. live and let live. he has something wrong with everything that he didn't do, he has no experience to prove it. he banned me cause i dreaded with wax and crochet hook. he's not peaceful, just likes to think he is. props johnny, you done good.

  • 5/5:D make me some more good vids!:D

  • You REALLY made my day!!! Can't wait to get the tool and use it! THANKS!

  • Is the poking tool like a crochet hook or something?

  • @TheIronParasite the poking tool is a felting needle, its extreme hair destruction crochet causes massive damage and makes dreads very high maintenance (u gotta fix the damage you cause weekly for life) but felting tears hairs to shreads weakening the entire dread..johny advocates many of the worse possibly things u can ever do to dreadsads, feltuing

  • Sweetness! I hope to one day have dreads:)

  • Yeaaaaaaaaah boyyyy fix those nottys. Careful the Illuminottys aré coming

  • LOL, good one :)

  • Comment removed

  • I can't wait to get the Lock Docta!

  • This will be helpfull in the future! :) Still growing my hair for kewl dreads :D

    Great Vlog 5/5 + a thousand Goldstars

  • Your smart man, doing some research before getting dreads is the best way to go

  • @afroguy78 yupp :D

  • i cut my dreads about 2 or 3 months ago but i never palm rolled them or used wax or any tools and they grew thick and didnt do any of these problums you mention in the vids after the first 2 or 3 months. i just back combed them in (probubly not very well) and let them lock, i did use the dread lock shampoo you sell and i still do now thati have normal straight hair, it seems to stop my hair from going all greezy even after a few days not washing it so that works in every way :).

  • quote from johny clean of dreadheadhq (taken off his twitter) When we lie we become a slave to our lie. It's then our responsibility to maintain it, which almost always requires more lies. thank you johny you certainly are an expert on lies

  • It's fantastic advice - I could tell you where I heard it but I'd have to kill you =] You're right some dreads look better with bumps n' stuff, and some people like bumps more than others... But should everyone HAVE TO HAVE bumpy dreads just cause some people like bumps? That doesn't make any sense to me. I think everybody should be able to have dreads like they want. So many thing really are out of our control, why not embrace what do have control over =] Just my 2 cents...

  • @KnottyJonnyClean they want dreads you sell them on the idea dreads shouldnt have bumps and u sell a tool that completely destroys dreads to remove bumps that are a pasrt of dreading you also make ot sound like real dreads are undesirable and only fake assed dreads like yoiurs acceptible

  • i hear dustin!!!!

  • can you do a video on combining dreadlocks together, without a strand twist

  • On it's way =]

  • hey thanks so much man!

  • thanks for uploading some more videos man

  • god those dreads are looking amazingg. we should get a close up?

  • can u shake your dreads for me in ur next vid?? ;]

  • lol =]

  • The Didgeridude Thanks you for using my didge track!

ill send you more didgeri-goodness soon.

    <3

  • Awesome sauce! I look forward to it =]

  • can you put up a video on rounding the tips... right now my dreads have paintbrush tips... i think i would prefer round ends :)

  • @MsAnarcho at the DreadheadHQ web site, there's a tutorial on tip rolling.

  • The loose hair tool makes round ends pretty much instantly, I'll get a vid up eventually =] There's some info on how to do it in the FAQ on the DreadHeadHQ site. Just search for tips and you'll find it. =]

  • thanks a ton :D

  • oh man thanks a lot i got a shitload of these things like every single dread but i would actually cut the uneven stuff with sorta worked for some of them but great video.

  • awesome! always practice safe poking..

  • can you make a video about fixing the roots of dreads?

i have like 3/4 of an inch of normal hair before the dreads start >.>

this one was really helpfull, ty

  • i rated! You promised to make more!

  • And I will! Mad thanks to all who Rated, Commented and Favorited this vid!! For me that's fuel to make more vids! =]

  • I loled at the amount of times you said "poking" thanks for the video :D

  • Looks like a decent, easy-to-use tool. I didn't think that it'd be this easy to get rid of bumps. Looks like I'll have something to do this weekend.

  • that shirt is sweet dude!!

  • Its way easier to take a crochet needle. It will take less than 1 minute- and while you're at it, mind as well work on the rest of your dreads as well. Hell of a lot more efficient than palm-rolling...

  • The crochet hook is another great tool with another purpose. When you use a crochet tool on a bump or zig zag it tends to pull the hair around it tight and it makes it harder to remove the bump. They do work well for loops of undreaded hair though.

  • well, for me it works if you stick the crochet hook across the dread and pull the lump instead of pushing it, but that´s just me..

    what do ya think?!

question, how long u been growing ur dreads and do u use the latching method to keep it tight at the root??

    thanks great vid!

should do one on washing dreads, many ppl dont know how to keep them clean...

  • Sometimes a hook will work, especially if there is some loose hair in the bump. Other times it will already be pretty tight and pulling the hair in locks it tighter so the bump gets smaller and harder instead of releasing and going away. It really depends on the situation..use what works! =]

A washing (and drying too) vid is a great idea!

  • The difference is that awesome Johnny Clean will get something out of it, and I don't have a problem with that :)

  • As usual, great information from the dreadheadhq guys. Looking forward to getting rid of some of those bumps, thanks Jonny!

  • always practice safe poking! Great video!!!

  • nice!!

but what's the difference between a common needle and the lockdocter?

  • a handle... lol

This thing is a waste of money

  • Well a needle with go into the dread without pushing anything in. The Docta has tiny little hooks on the side of the poker that push hair in. They can also release the hair inside the dread that keep the zig-zags in place so they can smooth out =]

  • anywhere i can see more details about how it looks like, and how the shipment is outside the u.s.?

  • When it's released on March 1 you'll be able to find it in our online store (on the dreadheadhq site) There are a few shipping options, you'll see pricing and info when you select the shipping. It's very light so shipping will be pretty inexpensive.

  • thanks;)

  • w00t... first comment lol

    nice vid man... really usefill!
