That was the best Dover finish I've seen. This video gets an 8, it would get a ten if you had them going green for a lap or two...
& yes I got soaked to the bone, but it was well worth it to see Burton back on top. I haven't ever heard a crowd cheer for a driver like that other then the 8.
Hi bigblockmustang, This was the first Nascar event I ever attended so I found it interesting. All the way home the guys talked about automotive stuff, we had no idea what they were talking about so us girls started a conversation about having our hair an nails done at an auto body shop. {had to be present to appreciate the humor}
I've been there in the infield by turn 1.. when Waltrip use to race (DW).. I moved to the west and went to the very first NASCAR race at Sears Point.. I've also seen Richard Petty race at Riverside while I was in training (USMC base in Tustin Ca) Richard is my Hero!
I don't care for NASCAR like I use to. The old days of the factory production made Stock cars.. that was cool.. mid 60's to the 80's.. Yah 429 Ford, 427 Chevy & 426 Hemi's :=) Men & Muscle
goin there tomorrow 4 all 3 races...cant w8!!!!!

I'm not a fan of Nascar but really enjoyed watching the pit crew change tires-man, they're FAST!
