Belvie me.... this would cause injuries!! I've done it by myself and was 3 weeks out of running, coulnd't train shoulders and wasn't able to do press movements!!
Is this really a stretch....I don't think this even counts as ballistic....it's more of an exercise or a movement rather than any encyclopdia-defined stretch.
How the hell do you do that with that ROM for your shoulders? I bet shoulder presses and upright rows are very interesting for you!
Well... i wouldn't have commented on you being a bit of a porker until i saw you hold up the celltech and realise you were wearing that shirt.
I'll give you props for opening yourself to critique though. Id cut if i were you, or at least bump up the cardio which is an integral part of DC..... Train hard bro...
i read on the forum about how this was supposed to be some sort of "miracle" cure stretch for those with slight shoulder problems...i started doing this stretch for a few days and it compounded my shoulder problems tremendously, especially my left shoulder which has become as unstable as ever due to THIS "miracle stretch."
If this stretch injures you further, than it is because of your failure to understand your injury and get it evaluated by a doctor. This is a Rotator Cuff Stretch, dont do something before you are sure it is ok. your that only person i have heard complain about this...
@gprince21 Just out on interest, what makes you think that a forum is in any way a substitute for talking to a qualified physio or doctor? Would you perform self surgery? Didn't think so. Be smarter in future.
should be done slower but you look like your shoulders are already flexible as fuck ... LOL@ the cell tech... good luck with your lifts. all the mma fighters in my gym do this stretch after training, and we used to do it a LOT in gymnastics (b4 and after training) plus Dante recommended it so it's automatically gospel imo
That looks like a great stretch but that's not the DC training way of doing it. The Doggcrapp style of extreme stretching for the shoulders is to rack a bar in shoulder height, grab onto it with a palms up grip and while holding on it you gradually step away until you get the biggest stretch and hold on to that for 60 seconds. It's hard to explain without actually showing it. Point I'm trying make is don't claim something is doggcrapp when it isn't.
well yes and no actually. what you speak of is the extream stretching for after training. what i am doing here is the stretching for you RC/small muscles of the delt. its for inury prevention mainly. i do the extream version after training delts, then this before bed to keep my shoulders healthy.
Thanks for posting this. I had an overrotation injury about two years back. It is still bugging me, like the small of the rear delt just feel unstable and almost compressed. Doctor said it's probably the result of a scar from the strain and theres nothing i can do about it.
Do you think this motion can help whip it back into shape?
done slow and controlled it is a GREAT stretching exercise. The shoulder is MEANT to be able to rotate 360 degrees (unlike the knee for example). Therefore increasing range of motion gradually over time will have big benefits. Obviously you wanna work at it slowly over time since any kind of severe stretch can cause unwanted stress on ligaments. But so long as u do it right, this shit is the bomb.
smallpenis- you are a scrawny little runt, thats why you feel the need to put other ppl down, you are not happy with your own body, thats the only reason you made that comment.

I agree you do look double jointed or hypermobile. I would not go with such a narrow grip if I was you.
HateHackers1989 2 years ago
daily or every other day. up to 50 reps a day.
FFCchamp 3 years ago
how often should you do this stretch? is it okay to do this daily? sometimes a few times a day? or will it increase further impingment/rc problems?

its a shoulder recovery exercise, not meant to cause injury, will swear by it, but it should be done slower then in the vid

that is such a stupid way to stretch. Doing a stretch like that will just lead to injury.
I use DC training and it is the shit...but that stretch will just tear something.
