The studio version has got keyboards but not Hammond.

Sorry StefanPriceUK, but the studio version of "In the gallery" has nothing but guitars. Check out the first Dire Straits album. Two guitars, a bass and drums.

I can't beieve you're trying to tell ME, lol.

Its hasn't got two guitars, bass, drums.

Its got 3 guitars, Keyboard pad on hook/chorus, bass and drums.

Nearly every song on the first 2 albums has got 2 seperate rhythm parts left and right, (sometimes one rhythm part is mark and the other is David, but often BOTH rhythm parts are MARK) and lead in the middle. 3 Guitars, use your ears before posting.

You must have a problem of undertsanding...(besides hearing). I said that there is NO KEYBOARD (or hamond or anything else) at the FIRST studio album of DS. If Knopfler(s) played overdubbing a third guitar I don't care about that. Now, where the hell have you heard keybords at the studio version of "In The Gallery" I don't know. You must be dreaming or listening to another group.

In the Gallery and One handed Sailor are unbelievable with a great Pick Withers (I think he's totally underrated). ;-) I wonder where to get these songs in full length...
