I love this song fantastic bass singing.. may not be earth shaking.. but it is so smooth and clean and pretty low at times.. but more importantly he's using it for God's glory and thats what it's all about!
the last time i heard this song,i was about 11 years old and it was in Fort Worth Texas under the tent on a hot Texas summer june night, and on a sawdust floor.
I liked this video and as a matter of fact I like everything you have posted. The comedy in the Crimson River Quartet is very funny and I appreciate it very much especially from such talented singers. Laughter is one of the best medicines that God created and HE certainly has one. If you don't believe me just take a look in a mirror and tell God your plan. We must be able to laugh at ourselves.
Thank you for posting your music. It has been both uplifting and encouraging.
if you remember, when cathedral did it, george took the bass part an octave lower on his solo part, after glenn encouraged him to go lower. love this group but miss the originals
this is from the Pacific region; south west of Hawaii. well, listn' to this brings harmoney to our hears. Praise God for such talents you have...keep on praising HIS Name
I agree with the Cathedrals sing it well too, but Crimson does a great job with it too. It takes alot of talent to sing a song of this caliber. And make it sound as good as both groups sing it.
he takes a good B#1 and as you said, decent quality, they're a pleasent sound even though they're not so famous like best of SG quartet, it's nice to listen to their songs, especially this one, I know that Cathedrals recorded this song, and I love it:X
i like the last chorus

I love Eric Baesel. I wish he would have stayed with the group. He was always very energetic and always smiling.

Rick Moore is a pretty good bass singer! His Low Bb1 is very solid and resonant!

I agree...nobody can sing the bass part like George Younce. Still very tight harmonies, though.
