No, I mean, when YouTube converts uploaded videos into .flv files, it changes the sound to mono.

it dont change it to mono it stays in stereo anles somthink in yor pc changes it

nah .. on really big files it tends to mono-ise the sound for some reason

I find some come in stereo for me, but when I extract the video normally it comes in a .flv formate, like lob31 said. But when I add "&fmt=18" or click the HQ button and extract the video it comes in a .mp4 format.
