Well actually, I've been a fan of RtR since it was released, it was the album that got me started on In Flames, ever since that day I have loved it. I do also like Soundtrack, they are both two of my favorites, is there possibly any hope for me?

It was the Used and Abused dvd that got me into In Flames and that was part of the Soundtrack tour. To be honest all of In Flames stuff is awesome, though not so much on A Sense Of Purpose. We just have to pretend that they never went 'mainstream' and that their first 6 albums were the best...

@lilgmichael Duuuuddddeee.... They arent really mainstream :P In Flames are still considered to be somewhat 'underground, i think. They arent big enough to be mainstream. And Reroute, Come Clarity and Colony are my favorite albums. Is there hope for me? Obviously. There are no bad IF songs, its just picking the ones you like best.

Their style has changed and its more of a generic way of playing i think but without moving out of the melodic death metal 'scene'. There's no IF songs that I've heard and not liked but in the more recent albums there's more that i like less. I pretty much like everything up until A Sense of Purpose. Its okay but not as good

In any case I love the band

But really there's no more IF since Jesper left :(

@xReinhartx What most people keep complaining about saying "New IF isnt as good as old. Not as heavy" or whatever. ASOP and CC are actually considerably faster and more aggressive than any of their previous albums in the current line up.
