  • FANTASTIC! PHENOMENAL!!! I would never have guessed that such a lush, orchestral piece could translate so well to piano. But, you did it with flying colors!!! Bravo!

I especially love how you did the entrance loading music. THAT'S attention to detail! The whole performance blows my old Horizons piano arrangement out of the water.

    Once again, fantastic job!!!!!!

  • u should play a gig @ disneyland. have u ever consider doing it??? u'd make bank!!! keep up the work!

  • This is very moving. It captures the joy and freedom of the original piece, but the reduction of the arrangement to piano is powerful and touching. I love it.

  • mega props from a fellow musician! LOVE it. passion is what drove you to tediously and meticulously sit and arrange this. Thank you so much for the download link, I will recommend this video to whomever I play this for!

  • This is great, i am tempted to go at it by ear. but ill make life easy and get the music

  • incredible -- this brought me to tears

  • @jawkneeboy Agrees.

  • How do you makes songs like this? Do you compose them by listening to the song over and over, or do you convert the string version to piano version?

  • @KevinScottFries Yeah, I basically just listen to the piece over and over again, figuring out what each instrument is playing and then arranging it for piano. Figuring out the basics doesn't take long, but settling on exactly how to play it is an ongoing process.

  • @1taken Wow, that is amazing. I wish I had that talent.

  • this made me tear up! how long did it take you to learn this?

  • @clayrox117 Awww, I'm glad you like it. =) It's really an ongoing process. Just figuring out how to play the basic melody only takes a few minutes for a piece like this, but working out all the details of the arrangement takes weeks or months - and it keeps changing, so it's really never "done", per se. I mean, this version is a big improvement over the first, but I play some parts even better now. I slowly stumble on ways to improve. It's fun!

  • These are excellent! Keep 'em coming!

  • what a tune.

  • Just when I figured out the loading music, here you are beating me to posting it...

  • Ah, this is so relaxing. In two days, I will be on this ride.

  • Wow! You did a Fantastic job! I think this one captures the beauty of California better than the original! Nice work, keep it up!

  • Nice job! I will be posting some more of my Disneyland Piano music soon. I recently taught myself the Honey, I Shrunk the Audience Exit Music theme and might post that.
