the GE and that othetr EMD are already dead in tow,there is just so much a single engine can pull going up

I dont think the units were quite suited for their job. How many cars were on this?

i got a index book listing most id marks...the "x" is a common thread throughout the index...what does the "x" mean...

The X means its a leasing company. All the RR's have the standard initials like UP, BNSF, CSXT, etc. But the leasing companies have to put in a X at the end of the reporting marks, such as EMDX, CEFX, GATX.

ive also heard that some ending with X are also government owned. now thats just what i heard i might be and probably am wrong

maby that to still im nto posative but thats what i heard from a railroad buddie
If It's government and ends in X, that means that it preforms twice as bad.....

I forgot his initials, but i've heard the DS on some of your videos and it kinda sounds like him.
Yeah his intials are DMR.
