  • i love the remington700, and i shoot the rifle many times

  • Real men dont need heraring protection.

  • @honda74941 Have fun going deaf lmao.

  • fuck it im saving up for a this no if ands or buts :D

  • i want one =(

  • I hate to be a nag, but you need to wear hearing protection or you'll really fuck your ears up.

    Great gun, BTW.

  • @SonofBrummieDarkness I am wearing SureFires ear pro. It is skin color so it looks like its not there.

  • one of my fav sniper rifle

  • Nice rifle. Did you have it trued?

  • @MikeM0331 No, this rifle is not trued just has factory action in it.. Thanks

  • beautiful rifle. i have the same rifle in .30-06 cal. i believe this is .30-06 as well. if so what cases bullets and powder do you use?

  • :O " wow dude , your like totally .... aaaamazing dude " :O

  • 1:07 musta been mad at something aha!

  • Nice paint job

  • Is that the remmington 700 sps? does it have the heavy barrel?

  • Doesnt that rifle have a box magazine?

  • i'd prefer the Winchester model 70, they're much better rifles in my opinon, especially the super grade model

  • i love the M4 right next him thats my gun. lol

  • I've had my eye on a synthetic stock 700 in .30-06. I think I'm getting ready to pull the trigger and buy it.

  • what caliber is this man

  • is that a smidt and bender scope?

  • what is the heighth of your tripod? Good vid man keep them rolling..

  • The Rem 700 is UNSAFE, it can fire without touching the trigger, there is a class action suit .

  • @EMERALDEMMY Your a dumb ass that is people that file the trigger down too much if you leave everything alone they are amazing rifles my dad has two i have one my brother has one and my uncle has one no problems

  • @EMERALDEMMY this has been fixed.the new xmark pro design is not defective

  • what caliber?

  • @jgoldston96 It's a 30-06 (.30 caliber)

  • @mossbergman590 If its a 5R it's not available in 30-06. They come in .223 rem, .300 win mag, or most commonly .308 win. If you wait a little longer they'll be selling a 20" threaded barreled version later this year, but that will be in .308 win only as far as I'm aware.

  • @davidpkm oh.... I didn't read the description.... hahahaha

  • nice rifle! looks like a nightforce optic? do you redload and if you so do you just kneck size your cartridges so they are tight in your chamber?

  • @woodchuckslayer86 Schmidt and Bender not nightforce. Yes I reload and no I full length size my brass. I know about neck sizing but full length works for me.

  • What caliber,i like your scope what kind is it?????

  • what caliber, and i like your scope what kind is it?

  • Should be wearing ear and eye protection. Amazing rifle though I wanna get one

  • i love that scope's reticule, what kind is it and how much did it cost u?

  • doesn't the 700 have a internal magazine? Or do you need to put one cartridge in at a time?

  • @SpetsnazFinest i think it depends on what type of 700 you get

  • Hi you hold the gun differently to I. Did you find a increase in accuracy if you do not hold at all? (using your method). I have a light .243 its not a tactical rifle so not sure if the muzzle jump would effect follow up shots.

  • @detectiveinspekta I have a crappy scope, reducule is moving everywhere on a 1in target.

  • @detectiveinspekta If I were to pull the rifle back into my shoulder the same way each time I'd get the same effect in accuracy with less recoil than in the video. I think not crossing my thumb over the stock is the biggest improvement of accuracy because my hands are not that big and I personally think it doesn't have more vibrations generating throught the stock. Just experiment and see wat works for you

  • @detectiveinspekta Not crossing the thumb is also good to aviod canting the gun and to avoid impact to the left or right of the target caused by impropper trigger squeeze directly to the rear. I would suggest to follow through by keeping the trigger to the rear until the recoil is over. It seemed like you released the trigger as soon as the shot broke. I personally like to treat the bench like the prone. lean forward more then sitting up. It seems like the gun was moving rearward quite a bit.

  • nice shooting my dad is buying me a sps stainless r700.

  • remington 700 at 1000 yards is more deadly than a 357 at point blank range!

  • @Armydude468 as long as it is .308 of bigger

  • Sick digi job... nice S&B... great rifle.

Someone likes a Marine Corps influence or two.

  • are you using the original stock?

  • @TacTeppo Yes

  • ha ha ha this looks like my hunting rifle Pretty powerful fer a 15 yr old i love it though

  • How much do those guns run for because I have been looking for those.

  • @metallica4566 Bout 850-950

  • @gun1911 idk abt riffles i just want to ask abt the pressure you're talking abt when you tried to open the bolt

  • @metallica4566 actually you can get a Very normal one for 520 and camo stock realtree ap for 700 with two boxes of shells

  • @metallica4566 you can by this gun at walmart without a scope for like 500 bucks

  • @metallica4566 - at my local Sportsmans Warehouse a Remington 700 SPS Tactical chambered in .308 costs $600. Sincerely- Brownnz.

  • great shooting and awesome rifle. what scope do you have mounted?

  • Schmidt & Bender 3-12 x50 PMII

  • there you´ve got an superd vid/rifle! 5***** =)

  • where did you get that rifle stock bullet holder?

  • Recoil isn't as bad as it looks. I'm still grouping under MOA at 340. So it works for me to hold the rifle light

  • finally, i found someone that really knows how to shoot a 700 the way its supposed to be shot. No snap-shots, nice slide on recoil , great follow thru and i like your method of handling the trigger. Outstanding, well done. Nice 340 yd groups too

  • thanks for the comment man, appreciate it.

  • That scope wasn"t cheap!

  • What size barrel is that?

  • 24inch

  • What scope do you have on it?

  • Schmidt&Bender PM II 3-12x50 Gen 2 MilDot Double turn

  • I'm thinking of buying a Remington M700 LTR .308... This should be a pretty good choice right?

  • depends on your suroundings here in al a 308 is a all around good gun for white tail deer

  • Nice paint job!! Does that stock pack give you a descent amount of rise? Also does it stay positioned relatively well? I've seen some with "extra cushion", but they seem like they would slide.

  • I cut a mouse pad to size and duct taped it around the stock, used 2 layers to be exact. It stays in position perfectly. has 3 adjustable velcro straps on the bottom.

  • Thanks for the info. Outfitting my Remington 700 Sendero.

  • beautiful rifle. did you paint it yourself?

  • Yes sir I painted it my self

  • hey whats your 700 chambered in?

  • .308

  • hey how much was ur scope

  • $3,249

  • god damn i thought it was like around 2000 or 1500

    and ur gun??

    i wanna get one

  • this rifle is a 5R milspec from remington factory...ran around $850. I have another rifle on the way that was around 4400 and will post vids up as soon as it gets here

  • Where did you get yours for $850? All the ones I have found are $950+.

  • I got this rifle back in 2002, 950 is still a really good price since then. They were normally around $950 back then. I was having a gunsmith build me a rifle but he up and left so the shop owner gave me a $100 discount for the trouble when he found this rifle. Very pleased with it and its accurate and easy to clean

  • alright thanks man ima look into it some more

by the way i saw one at big 5 for like around 500 but thats prolly a cheap ass one huh... not as good?

  • well I'd make sure its not used, inspect the bore for rust and just look over everything carefully. Ask them how many rounds have been down the tube and just look into it. Good luck

  • ok yea thanks ill check on that

i dont think it was just like urs tho the body looked different it almost looked kinda square but i didnt get to hold it or anything so idk

  • if zombies come, i guess your safe

  • got to wear ear protection. It's degenerative and by the time you're 40, you can't hear anything and always have to ask people, 'WHAT?'.

that's me right now, it's pretty damm annoying.

  • Thanks for your concern but I am wearing the SureFire ear pro hearing protection. Its flesh color so it is hard to tell in the video.

  • 700p?

  • It's a 5R mil-spec from Remington. I have a tac-ops on the way...hopefully wont be to much longer. Been waiting awwhiilllleeee for that. Already have the suppressor for it just waiting on the rifle

  • Great rifle and scope! Awesome!!!!

  • no its not he same rifle they use in the corps. same scope and action but thats about it.

  • nice gun same as the marine corps snipers

  • IS THAT A SCHMIT SCOPE ?

  • yes its a schmidt & bender PMII 3-12x50. Seems you know your scopes.

  • they are great scopes i am saving for a Schmidt & Bender 5-25 x 56 PMII Scope with a P4 fine line ret to put on my .308 AI

    nice rifle by the way

  • You cant beat the scope, this one has the Gen II Mildot ret in it. Very VERY clear during low light times of the day. I wouldnt trade this scope for anything but I think I'll be going with the Premier scope next as it is 3-15x50 and cheaper than S&Bs now days.

  • Nice rifle but if you had let is have time to cool a bit you would have all your shots inside 3 inches. easy.

  • i got a Rem. 700 youth model .308. i really like it

  • amazing rifle and paintjob. i have a remington 700 sps varmint, and its one of my favorite rifles ever!!

  • wicked paintjob!

  • nice shooting man

  • The 5R Remington factory barrels aren't bad, but not great. They are copying the 5 radial land concept, but they are still in-house built barrels and don't have the same match grade quality or consistency of an Obermeyer or Rock 5R barrel.

That's not to say that it won't shoot decent groups with the appropriate handloads. But consumers shouldn't get caught up in the marketing use of buzzwords ('5R').

  • 0:53 scared the piss out of me lol

  • What CAL is it...?

  • cal. 7,62

  • ThX

  • it does take skill actually, including but not limited too:

    1.breath control

    2.trigger squeeze

    3.sight alignment

    4.follow through

    5.position (correct)

  • sry man but fireing from a bipod takes no skill wat so ever but nice gun

  • I like gunz too.

  • yea me too, well since about 6 yea, but im only 17, anyways, mind tellin me what optics you got on that beast? Im diggin the home made digi desert dude, i actually ordered (er my grandpa) a remington 700 sps for my birthday on tuesday the 10th, planning on putting a nice stock on it as well as a de-resonator, maybe getting one of those remmy tactical stocks, but i cant decide on optics, im feelin a nightforce tho, any advice?

  • I have the Schmidt and Bender PMII 3-12x50 on the rifle in the video...I'm currently waiting on a rifle build thats been goin on for over a year now then I will stick the S&B on there. I have a leupold for this rifle above and have been pleased with it. Nightforce is a great scope I hear for the cost due to durability and the optics...so you cant go wrong there....save up and buy it becuz trust me its worth it.

  • you seem to know exactly what your doing, slowly squeezing, not pulling your face away from the optics after firing, great technique, were you military trained? i cant really tell your breathing habits but they seem to be correct, deep breath, out, deep breath, half out, hold, squeeze in between heart beats, very nice

  • Love the video man. Where is the best place I can get my hands on one of these? I am determined to get one. I've heard it shoots like a dream also.

  • Ask your local gun dealer...Remington only makes a few hundred every year...my rifle was the first production run they did back in 2002 and were only supposed to be 300 made but i guess they had such a good sell and request they continue to make them each year

  • how much did this rifle cost you? looks beautiful, and is the recoil tremendous? seems like it in the video. nice rifle non the less

  • Rifle was 850 did the paint my self and no the recoil is not as bad as it looks. I just don't hold it firm against my shoulder when i shoot to minimize movement, looks a lot worse than actually is.

  • wait, just 850 dollars? ur lying, cant be true, something that sexy isnt that cheap

  • I have a 14x Unertl scope I would like to use on a 700. Just trying to find the right mounts for it..the thing is 20" long. I've seen old pics with sniper rifles equipped with Unertl scopes. Nice shooting..cool vid.

  • i'm about to buy a Remington 700 and I'm trying to figure out what the best scope for that gun is. Any advice?

  • Depends what you're gonna use it for. I've had a $80 bushnell banner 3-9x40 that performed awesome. I'll recommend leupold tactical series as I have that 1 also. Bushnell elite 3400 series or sumthin. Falcon menice not sure how its spelled but heard good results from that also. Just be careful buyin online that u dont buy a overseas made product. Hope this helps

  • I LOVE my Nikon 4-16x50 NON tactical on my 5R.

  • Also check out the Dednutz scope mounts, they are awesome.

  • what kind of stock do you have on , where did you get it and for how much?

  • The stock is a older HS Precision. It came with the rifle straight from Remington.

  • how many rounds can the rifle hold

    beautiful rifle

  • 4 + 1 in the chamber

  • what brand is that M4 on the right of you

  • Bushmaster....a police friend of mine also has a bushmaster that he carries as a patrol rifle.

  • i sure hope you have some earprotection??

  • yes it is surefire earpro....it is hard to see in the video

  • what scope do you have on it?

  • Schmidt & Bender 3-12x50, First focal plane, Double Turn knob, illuminated reticle and Gen II mil-dot

  • eh, i fuckin love your r700

  • looks like it has some serious recoil to it.

  • I'm shooting free recoil...which means I don't have it firm against my shoulder to minimize movement on the rifle...it looks worse than it really is.

  • How much of a gap "at your shoulder" do you allow & still have full control? Do you need a rail underneath your forearm to install bi-pod? What is that strange "hiss" sound in the background? Thanks for the info.

  • The butt is still resting on my shoulder but not pulled back into it. the bipod is attached to the sling stud and sling can be hooked to the bipod....im guessing they are locusts

  • Spesific R700-Model?

    .308?

    Thanks

  • Remington 700 with 5R milspec barrel, .308 only adjustment I did to it was take the trigger down to 1.5 lbs of pull from 6 lbs

  • Nice, i'll have to look into them. This was my first buy (remmy w/ lupy). Maybe someday I'll be good enough to warrant buying a Schmidt & Bender :P

  • Hope it works out for you. Put some vids up of your shooting

  • Nice shooting, I just got my Remmy 700P. Hope to zero it in soon. What kind of glass you got there?

  • Schmidt & Bender PMII 3-12x50 gen 2 mildot

  • Nice nice? How do you like it? Forked over the money for a Lupy Mk4 for mine T__T

  • awesome shooting bro, gun looks fucking sick with that digital camo
