Looks so easy in the video but its far more difficult to hit the neat spot on the pins! there are too many variables! like how fast to throw the ball! I suspect the only strike I'll be getting any time soon will be when I hurl the controller at the television set!

i tried getting this achievement for like 3 days xD and finally got it when i got the hang of it. now i get strikes almost all the time when i go bowling with freinds :) same in darts though its very easy game

I had a new save and hadn't used any cheats. It works now thou jus deleted my Playstation profile and created a new and then it worked. Still very very weird.

Yes I managed it after a while. It works exactly as you describe.

One thing though, the sweet spot for me was when the ball travelled between 10 - 15 MPH.

I beat that it has to do with the degree the stick is pulled back and what not. I might be slightly to the left, or slightly to the left, and thus have to go slow.

If it didn't work then that means that you are doing it wrong.

All you have to do is take two full steps to the left, draw you stick SLOWLY back, and SLOWLY forward (completely straight) and you will get a strike everytime.

You are either forgetting to take your two steps to the left, or you aren't drawing the stick back straight.

A patch came out just a little while ago so you can get them.

I can't remember the exact number, but I think it's something like 51 trophies

It's one of those trophies that are really easy to get as long as you know how to do it.  If you don't, it feels like it's impossible.
