Mknives, The penalty was not overturned. he ended up serving it for what they deemed was "avoidable contact". Also, The GT300 car wasn't in the way, in fact, ide had the inside line and so was already clear, so no excuse for suddenly slapping the body panel off a slower class car. That was not very acceptable driving and he should of known better.

The Super Aguri team ran without traction control for most of the 2006 season, its all over the F1 news pages this week. So give the guy a break, he couldn't just turn up the TC like all of these "great drivers" in F1.

Sato already had relations with Honda (engine supplier) and plus Sato has far more experience in formula 1. Lack of testing doesn't affect Sato as badly as it did to Ide because he already has the feel and control for such powerful machines.

People are exaggerating all his faults in his racing career. If you actually count the number of incidents, they are similar to other drivers who seem capable of handling a car. It's just the media and how they portray things.

To be fair to Ide he's not that bad i think the lack of testing the Super Aguri and the fact the car was/is just horrible has completley ruined the blokes confidence and he's just had a bad year. His previous record in motorsport is quite good i just think F1 has shaken him up a bit (in a bad way)
