Strange that throughout the clips it's the right wing that falls off and then in clip 5 at around 8:35 they show the left wing falling off ! Where was the director ?
@nhanbread Still the right wing, the plane is just flying at you so it looks like the left wing. I suggest you re-watch it. In fact, it's the same clip they show several times.
It's possible to point the finger in several directions perhaps. However, the relative complexity in running even a small airline, or even one private aircraft come to that, is a challenge that has inbuilt potential for trouble at best, UNLESS there are sufficient of all necessary resources.
The effect of commercial pressure in today's over-tight margin world is pushing maximum safety operation to an almost theoretical impossibility. The profits just aren't there.
That's the government for you. Only 16 people would get killed so let's give a 60+ year old plane an exemption. Right.
