  • you need to lift the needle in the carb to compensate for more air flow

  • unfortunatly no, i have been having problems recently making the bike work at all

i left it out in the rainy season, the kickstart froze. i managed to get it working again though. but now im having a problem with the electrics, again because of the winter. i have tried two filters now, i think the metal mesh are not that good, the double foam, i have read, are better. though i cant get the fueling right.

  • old vid but did you get that working ? dose the air filter change the bikes top end speed ?

  • you need a bigger inlet to copensate for the extra air flow, think about it with more you need more fuel it shouldnt be stuttering tho just from that air filter but try a bigger inlet or bigger carb

  • i have tried riding the bike, it works better this time.

the first time i tried it i hadnt adjusted the idle mixture screw, there were seriouse problems with the throttle, a constant and severe stuttering.

this time when i take off the throttle the bike seems to stutter when slowing. there seems to be some faulter when accelerating as well though not that extreme.
