I believe the line in the constitution says, The Government shall recognize no religion above any other.. IT DOES NOT SAY FAITH. We are a CHRISTIAN Nation. Thomas Jefferson stated it, and the constitution, our laws and government buildings, money and our pledge all state GOD.. as in the Christian God. We are NOT a muslim nation, or a Hindu nation but allow any and all to practice their faith. Shame on you for your prejudice against a woman who believes in a Christian God.

I was referring to a general statement that I made regarding my observations about the hypocrisy of the religious right, but the response that I got made a bunch of assumptions about my personal beliefs regarding abortion. My original statement made no mention of my personal beliefs, but the response did. In Freudian terms, we call this projection and/or transference when someone makes an assumption based on nothing.

The response was statements about my acceptance of aborting an unborn life. btw - Your interpretation of the Beatitudes is quite interesting too. There is a huge difference between Christ's call to change men's souls versus changing men's political systems and all those outer appearances that the Pharisees & men are so concerned about. Jesus also said to them, "Render to Ceasar's what is Ceasar's..." (Mark 12:17) The world is what it is. Our call is much deeper than that.
