why 2.25? on the xrs you should be using 2.5" for optimum performance. the 1zz is the one that should be using 2.25..

no, i didn't keep the same exhaust tip. i chose a similar design to the stock tip but bigger in diameter to keep the stock look.

sorry for the late response. (i just left for the military, that's why) anyway, i think i paid about $300-$350 for the parts & labor for a full catback system 8)

Nice....sounds just like mine did before i did the custom catback 2.5" duel exhaust on my 06 rolla S. Dont try it unless you plan on moving the fuel pump, and cutting and rewelding the trunk bucket out of the way...lol...ill post pics soon.

i also have a fujita sri (dynoed @ 163whp with that intake alone), magnaflow catback exhaust & soon ppe header/downpipe & hydra EMS. also, have to upgrade to stage 4 clutch & flywheel, install LSD & change suspension system and that should be it for me 8)

i wish i had the Xrs i couldnt find ary out this way though. i have an 05 corolla S its the same motor as the base model just with the side moldings and a better geat ratio. i like the car tho, is the exhaust the only mod you have?

yes, it is. i ordered it from this muffler shop close to my house (forgot the name) any muffler shop should be able to order it for you & installed at a discounted price when you buy if from them 8)

Don't know why people buy these cars. They are slow and I know because I have one. Good on economy though got 41mpg once. Seats are uncomfortable.

lol. Why do you even comment. Your corolla does not get 41mpg. Average is 30-35 for most ppl. And that is an XRS corolla. Not fast but can be worth a few mods and made faster than the new civic si.
