actually WAR gives you more PvP fun. You can level up without PvE, doing RvR quests and killing enemy players, and thats great about this game.

Great game but will however never reach the feeling of WoW sorry guyes. There is too little raiding possabilities and the worl isn't really connected in a good way which makes this game a bit shallow.

WoW caters to the 10-45 age range... WAR is designed for people 17-40... remember how many 13yr old play WoW? there's a reason they don't like WAR.

i havea decent comp but war was still a bit slow for me so i read some forums and people told me war tends to run slower than it should on some computers which is being fixed so if its a bit slow dont worry, go with atleast a duel core proccessor at atleat 2.4ghz atleast 2gb of ram and atleast a nvidia 8800 series video card. with a comp like that war should be fine on high settings

Everybody can see that you're a wow player who never touched war, since you call it Horde and Alliance. Its Order and Destruction. Yes there is many careers in warhammer. And if there's a career on order, there should be a career on destruction that nearly has the same abilities.. cuz else the game would be crappy.. but thats no difference from wow.. except that there actully are a difference! even a little one.. And the careers doesnt look the same or have the same name on both sides

hatred builds from hitting enemies and being hit by enemies. some abilities require hatred to execute, some are more powerful depending on how high your hatred is.

What makes WAR better is the community and the models look a lot better. However the community in WAR is one tenth the size of the community in WoW so you have to be careful which server you go on, some have very tiny populations. It lost a lot of people before patch 1.2 due to all the programming errors in the game (resulting in EA axing pretty much half the people at Mythic). But just wait, within 2 years people will come crawling back, since its Warhammer it has lasting appeal on its side.

Which is a shame I think since WAR is a better game, most people who did leave left because they whined about all the gameplay errors, funny thing WoW has gameplay errors too, its just it's PvP is so simplistic that it's hard to get errors in programming it, also WoW has flying mounts, so I don't know. On the plus side all the people I've met who did quit weren't nice people to chat to anyway, they all seemed like angry people to me.

You definately dont wanna go to a server that's relativly empty. Don't be fooled by the experience bonuses given. If you're going to enjoy WAR, you want people to play with - no matter what time you sign in.

Chose a server that is well populated - thats the best tip I can give ya!

It really depends on your personality. My suggestion is that you try any class you find interesting to lvl 4... it doesn't take long to get to lvl 4 and you will have a good idea of how the class plays by then.
