so you don't know what's wrong with our rolling, you just know that there's something wrong with it. i would suggest not going around making statements like that unless you're going to back yourself up on what you're saying.

all the main guys in this video are instructors of the australian parkour association. we've been training and teaching for years, we know how to roll effectively and painlessly on concrete from heights with speed. there are many ways to roll, and our one works.

rather than rolling from shoulder to hip, we prefer to start on the shoulder and finish a bit above the hip. it just means that you roll on the more meaty parts of your back and are less likely to smash the hip bone into the ground. have a play around with that and see how you go :)

@Animeguy993 Go cheap. Many of the Melbourne instructors train in Dunlop Volleys, which have a super-thin and super-soft sole for maximum tactility. They cost $18 at Kmart.
