@Phillipkim224 I have done my research, and if you look they are a collaberation of the greatist players the NBA has to offer, I have even been to one of there matches and they talk about win streaks and such, ever heard of curly neil? Well around his time the globetrotters were said to be unstoppable, paul gaffney took over the team and in 1999 it was said that he had his team back up to that standard.

No the globetrotters do not play many NBA games (or any for that matter) but that is because they dedicate there time to helping the comunity, but everyone is in agreement they probably would not lose a game if they joined the league

Question for real basketball fans: would the Globtrotters be able to beat a top NBA team in an actual game with rules and referees and all that? Seems to me they would because they're so good at shooting and ball-handling. But I don't know that much about the sport.

@beautifulsarah100 It is highly doubtful that today they would beat a NBA team. The original version however was a serious basketball team that beat all comers for years and years. The antics and entertainment was added later as they began losing out talentwise to the NBA and became less competitive and more entertaining. They do continue to dominate the Generals, however.

@frank91100 Actually they were never an NBA team they did play teams back in the 1920's, 30's, 40's that back then they would of been considered NBA and they also played against college teams as well; few years ago they used to open up college exhibition games against the Globetrotters and suprisingly enough the globetrotters won the majority of them; but alot of moves you see in the NBA were actually originated by the Globetrotters
