I so agree with your review! I have been a fan of ST:TOS, and went in with a bit of trepidation. It was AWESOME! The casting was great (Urban as McCoy and Pegg as Scotty was DEAD ON!), Eric Bana was a cool villian with a good motivating factor. But the scenes that had me in tears were with Pine and Nimoy and Quinto and Cross ("I married her because I loved her." OMG! I got a lump in my throat right now!). Can't wait to see what happens with the sequel!

I have never seen an episode of Star Trek but I love sci fi and this movie was awesome! I actually could follow the storyline although I couldn't understand the technology and the villian was a what? Totally didn't understand what planet the villian was from. My friends weren't fans of Star Trek either but they enjoyed the film too! Spock and the black chick rock!
