Do any of the Greek people take any responsibility for their lavish vacations, early retirements or social bennifits? One thing is for certain, nobody is going to lend Greece any money. The outside world does not care WHY the Greeks can not pay, just the fact they can not pay. Sooner or later, they will have to come face to face with the stark reality of a budget and living within their income. Any country can live big like a credit card junkie, with the same end results.

To KAYABA2007, they did the same in the UK in the London protests. There were nearly half a million people, but only a few hundred violent. It happens a lot, and the media focused on it like this. The police did nothing then arrested many people not being violent.
I believe they are part of the corruption too.

I can't say that living in a corrupt capitalist state is any better. Or at least it won't be after the BRICS find a currency to put up against the dollar. And to be fair, the Greek protesters are asking for far less than the recipients of TARP, QE1, QE2 and the coming QE3 have asked for. Not a single person in that crowd got a $9mil. bonus for tanking their economy.
