The point is to be able to compete in world superbike and also to break into the supersport bike mainstream among comsumers. Chain driven inline four 1000cc bike to compete with the japanese liter bikes as well as more exotic bikes like the RSV4, F4 RR 312 and 1198. From the looks of it and the reviews it's doing a good job too.

Do u ever drive an new BMW R1200R ? thats awesone the power in low speed of the engine is freaky. At an Japan Bike ( Reiskocher ) u feel the Power at abaut 6000rpm. An Boxer has the Power at 2500rpm. Actually i drive an BMW F800GS. But i want a bike like the HP2 in the future.
