i'd like to know how Konami managed to retain the rights to the song by Cyndi Lauper. maybe they reacquired the rights. =S regardless, this is one song i'd love to play in whichever Pop'n Music it's featured in...if it were possible, of course.
I would kill to have a pop'n'music controller. I love the game, I've played a lot of it with a standard PS2 controller on 5 keys mode... but 9 keys mode with a standard controller is completely out of question :(
Nah, i played a lot of Pop'n Music in my Dreamcast with the DC controller and is not that hard. The only draw back is that you can't press down/up or right/left at the same time on the pad, this problem doesn't exist in the PS2 with the individual arrow buttons.
No... It's a remix or a REMIX of the song from the movie "The Goonies". Specifically, this is a remix of the version found in "The Goonies" video game on the Famicom which is a remix of "Goonies R Good Enuff" from the MOVIE "The Goonies". Trust me.
Now that you mention it, it sounds like the 8-bit NES version. So it's a Konami remix of a 8-bit edition of a song found in a movie sung by Cyndi Lauper.
I'm REALLY not that clueless or stubborn about stuff like this most of the time, heh heh. But yeah, I didn't mean the source music was from a video game ALONE. Sorry about the misunderstanding! ^_^;
You need a few things: An imported Japanese PS2, The Game, and the controller (Optional, but playing without it would be like playing DDR without the dancemat >.>). You can find all three items on sites like Ebay but it's an expensive investment :p

Elle a l'air chouette cette salle.
C'est pas trop grand mais juste ce qu'il faut non?
d'après les cris non trop lointains elle a l'air de taile familiale.
TU saurais me dire c'est ou la salle?
et tout et tout...

Woo! Konami's remix of their rendition of "Goonies R Good Enuff" from the Famicom game, "The Goonies"! So retro and so groovy all at the same time...

Actually... the song is from the MOVIE "The Goonies", sung by Cyndi Lauper.

Though, a little correction... the song's name is "Goonies "R" Good Enough" (yeah, it's an R, not an A)
