One of the hardest things to do as a musician is play in time. Adam Jones plays those riffs perfectly throughout the entire song. Which is extraordinarily impressive because most of the time he can't even "feel" his way though. He has to count (like at 3:04). And the solo; simply amazing. His guitar distortion work always gives me chills. Tool fucking rocks.

It may not be appropriate, but tool has made me a better person than i used to be. I admire the work they put into their music and the (different) messages they send. I find 'Stinkfist' as funny as much as it is rocking. Tool helped me a-lot on a personal basis and I have made respects. I remember blasting Jambi in my car, in front of the Coachella concert beck when they headlined. I drived out to see them, but what I remember the most is blasting this song and my friend being retarded.

I find it funny this video was posted by someone with the anti christ number 666 in his name. This video is about overcoming the devil. Especially in the end where maynard says "Silence Legion, save your poison. Silence Legion stay out of my way." Which is reference to the bible where Jesus cast the demons out of a man and the demons identified themselves as "Legion for we are many." Maynard had and still respects his mother was/is a devout christian. He was raised baptist.

Seriously, those who say he isn't good at guitar are just judging by speed or "shredding ability". Adam is quite possibly the most original guitarist of today. His riffs are very rhythmic and his style of guitar makes up a large portion of Tool's sound. If Danny Carey's amazing drum work is the heart-beat of the band, then Adam Jones' guitar riffs are the bloodstream. Incredible guitarist. As for this song? Flawless.

@Cazaq except that its not very odd...its either 9/8 with a few duplets or 3/4 with a bunch of triplets, and the whole way through...Just remember that great songs like this one don't need weird time signatures
