  • hellow Lee,

just a note I must correct you that JW Blue label is nowhere near the most expensive Scothch blended whisky (yes whisky when you are talkin about Scotch...and whiskey when you have american whiskies...), at least I know one whic is more expensive...CHIVAS Regal 25 years old....so???

anyway great video, could you show us your collection? it must be a wonderful view what you have gained in 30 years

    best regards

  • hm I thought JW is famous for it's consistency due to high quality blends. how does the single malt blend in here?? and isn't there a difference between scotch and whiskey?

  • GREEN is not a single malt....learn your whisky before you broadcast your shit all over the internet.

  • This video was a total waste of time, the guy is a moron who clearly doesn't know jack shit about scotch, and I need to get drunk now just to get this shit off my mind.

  • Bowmore 30th anniversary blended edition - roughly $8,000; Isle of Sky 50 year old blend, roughly $1,700; Whyte & Mackay 40 year old, roughly $900... Those are just off the top of my head... JW Blue label might be pricey, but it's nowhere near the most expensive blended whisky out there.

  • You sir.... are clueless about Scotch. Do some research before making another vid.

  • thanks for wasting part of my life on this video trash

  • too bad he spells whisky wrong

  • I do not like JW Blue at all. I stick with Single Malts.

  • All of the videos about scotch from this guy is 3rd rate information. You can read it off the back of the box or online and get much more information. I'm sure he sells a lot of Blue Label, but just because it's expensive doesn't mean it's worth the price. Most scotch aficionados would take an equally priced single malt over Blue Label any day. His claims about JW Green just proves how little information he knows about Scotch.

  • Blue Label is very good, but not worth $200. They need to make the packaging less fancy and sell it for $100-120, then people would buy it more often. You can buy better bottles of single malt in the $200-250 instead of Blue.

  • I want to smash a bottle of schlitts over this guys head.

  • any thrifty liquor store puts these vids to shame.

  • "..epitome of their HOLE line"? lol who did the subs?

  • Hi. I've been in the liquor business thirty years and I still think JW Green Label is a "single malt". Have a nice day.

  • Eh Randy,

I just bought a bottle of the stuff. The term used on the bottle is "Pure Malt", which is sometimes referred to as vatted malt. Many blends, like Black have malt and grain whiskies in them, but Green is a blend of only single malts, which include: Talisker, Linkwood, Craggenmore, and Caol Ila.

Fine stuff, though not Highland Park!

The 12 is the best scotch for the money - IMHO, and the 21 year is like nothing I've ever had!

    Good sipping!

    Dale

  • Yes, he says a lot about nothing. Just heaps of nothing clips to advertise his store. And, going against what he says, just because Blue is expensive doesn't mean it is the best! It's still a blend..

  • Drinking Laphroaig 10yrs old, and it's great!

  • green is a vatted malt not a single malt you joker

  • And it's more difficult obtain a good single malt than mixing them to get a consistent flavour.

  • To me, Blue is the best! but It's an occasion drink for me and my family!

But black is the everyday drink when your sipping on something!

    JW rule!!

    You mix !You Die

  • Try Highland Park 12 YO Single Malt! And, no where near as expensive!

  • When I tried Black and Blue head to head I couldn't drink the black...

  • Threw up? You must be underage and your pallete has probably not developed yet. Try it again when you're a bit older.

Blue is far superior to black, so smooth and deep with wave after wave of flavours - i love the stuff.

  • black is smooth..green--even more smooth and whn i tried blue??

    i threw up...disgusting

  • im very intrerested in scotches, but just a question in your 1 minute interview, u talked about it being the most expensive in the world, but not one did u mention it tasting the best ?????

  • I can definitely testify to the fact that Blue Label is a completely different sensation all together. Black Label is delightfully smooth but lacks the detail and definition that Blue Label has. Blue label is more prominent and definitely an aquired taste. I first tried Blue label about two days after I had my first Black label scotch in Berlin, recently. The difference is obvious from the beginning. People saying that it is the same cannot have tried them, or they are heavy smokers.

  • Blue tastes exactly like black. That's totally not true in my opinion. And indeed, get your facts right when it comes to green label. Johnnie Walker doesn't even have single malts. He was one of the first blenders (together with the Chivas brothers and I think William Grant) and I think he sold his blends in his grocery shop.

  • blue tastes exactly like black....totally overpriced...alcoholic jewelery , green is not a single malt, its a blend of 15 single malts.

  • I love black label, so I"ll save my money and stay with black. Thanks for clearing that up.

  • JW Green is not a single malt. It is a vatting of several single malts. Take your trash off the Tube.

  • Chivas Regal Royal Salute (50 yrs), goes for $10.000

  • the green is not a single malt.... its a pure malt blend

  • Ive had red and black but I really want green or gold, Ive hear blue was way overrated and overpriced. GIVE ME GREEN!

  • More info, less price.

  • Other than most expensive, why?

Talk slower about how the Johnny Walkers compare, what to look for in a scotch, and how the Blue Label delivers that to the toon of $200.

If I sell you a bottle of tap water for $200, does that make it the best water? Same goes for anything else.

Educate me, at least tell me why the Johnny Walkers are priced the way they are.

  • who says you have to be an alcoholic to enjoy a drink

  • im not saying that,,,,but as an alcoholic myself, this video is not a positive message for anyone. this video is about selling booze, and i oppose that on youtube for sure. there are plenty of outlets for advertising booze. BOOZE KILLS and runs lives of innocent people and i see no good in this video, unless there are people that oppose it, and say so. there is no need to try to get people to buy something that has caused so much pain in the past and in the present.

  • i see what youre saying. but you see, both my dad and uncle were alcoholics. but they never tried to stop any of my family from drinking. from the other videos this man has, it seems that his passion is whiskey, and it is not right to punish him for mistakes that you made. no offense of course

  • im not punishing anyone,,,im merely stating my opinion....i understand passion, but if someone has a passion for something that can and has killed many many people, then regardless of their passion, the advertisement of such a thing can harm others....i fully understand how someone can look at well made booze or wine in a very appreciative way, but please, keep it private is my suggestion,,,,i take no offense at your comment and certainly hope you take no offense at mine

  • i see what youre saying. and i also take no offense at your comment

  • thannnnnk you

  • waka waka
