I have been look for this for years. I didn't know it was called sooji halwa. We just call it halwa. Do you eat it in your hand? My mom only makes it on special occasions. I don't think she used condensed milk, but I never saw her make it so I don't know. She doesn't like anyone in the kitchen when she is cooking.

@Bajiascooking Condensed sweet milk does not contain such a ratio of sugar as much your Halwa needs. Other wise every thing is good in the recipe. so why not you add some sugar?
dont eat the fruit but add a little. to get and understand the real taste. try in small quentity. mix fruit has all the citrus peal as well and it has strong taste. get the very basic one. watch box carefuly to know what and what it has got. because we must avoid cinamon touch in fruit mix. its addes in all big and expencive ones.

it is powerful and usefull you can cook in it as a pot! much better then elec frying pan. jis cheez ko bhi presure na dena ho is main banalo. murghi, sabzi.

Loki halwah just guessing. Cut loki, pressure with water, open & dry, add lots butter or desi ghee, bhoon till change color, add one can sweetened condensed milk, make it thick then add dry full cream powder milk if one cup mixture left 1 cup power milk. Cook till turn khoya.

Thanks for liking the recipe. The wok is made by sunbeam it comes in 2 sz, this is the large one. They are superb and long lasting. Comes with the glass lid. This one I have been using from last 10 years. Always use wooden spoon.

Condensed milk 395ml, milk 200ml, cream 300ml, approximately.
I usually measure every thing in condensed milks can. Sab baraber baraber.
I had things in small pickings so I used them. I large cup of each item if fine.
