@britishburden correction, this mount in fact DOES still drop, its just obtainable through the random heroic satchel also that you may get when signing up as 85. it does though still drop in the instance itself

I got the mount on my First Attempt Just today and the mount is a .1% Drop so its equivlant in doing this 1000 times to get the mounts

@mafiabzz its not equivalent to anything. the amount of runs just makes it more probable that the mount will drop, not that it will actually drop.

it is a weird misconception that if an item has a drop chance of 1% it needs to be farmed 100 times for it to be found. You can farm it forever and not having it drop, or like it was for you, having it drop on the first run.

It's not hard to speed run as a rogue, just be careful around the ghouls that can see through stealth, FoK mobs (takes like 4-5 for me) and just roll through it all. I never did get the mount in like 30000 runs (okay that's an exaggeration lol), but I did get exalted with Argent Dawn (got the title since I already had crusade exalted :P) and some pretty good gold. I heard they had a bug with the crates so you could skip ziggurats, but pretty sure they fixed it -_- oh well

I farmed this on my paladin, At the time I needed gold for epic flying so i was taking all mobs in prot spec, u get decent coin off the mobs and u can make some nice gold by selling sstuff on the AH, even got hold of a few boe epics to sell to twinks. Got it in 26 runs, don't play my paladin anymore >.< lol. now to try farm it on my priest!

just so u no, it is 100% a good idea to loot bosses, it will add maybe a min or so to each run to grab all loot if u don have an add on, but on my DK it took over 200 runs in order to farm this mount, in the duration i had 2 World epics ( worth about 400g a piece ) drop and occasional others along with blues which would of sold well over 1k g in the time, so Looting bosses only is a good idea

nothing from strat is worth that much... they are all lvl 60 items

actually those lvl60 items are still very good, well if you're an enchanter that is. Just DE all the greens and blues for a good amount of gold, coins are still nice, and rune cloth will never stop dropping. I once got a lvl60 epic weapon from Stratholme just from farming there like crazy. that epic I sold on the AH got me like 300-400gold.

Thanks for the video. However one thing this guide fails to mention is the "eye of Naxxaramus" for it's an invisble monster that if aggroed summons two gargoyles on you. Another thing to note is that this tactic can be done at level 70+ but not all clases can do it. I had a mage friend run it and was unable to kill Rammstein. But other than that this guide works very well I myself used it and yes, got Rivendare's Deathcharger

No, that's not how chance works unfortunately.

If a coin has a 50% chance to land on heads and you flip it twice will it land on heads once and tails once? No of course not.

You have a 1% chance on any given run to get the mount. Chance is not cumulative so there is no amount of runs which will guarantee this mount to drop, although the more runs you do the higher the probability that you would have gotten the mount becomes but the chance to actually get it never goes over 1% on any given run

The drop rate was increased to 1 in 100 instead of 1 in 1000. So the drop rate was actually increased. I am sorry but I don't care what a fucking mod may say. Mods can often be incorrect. I have been playing since Vanilla and I know what I am talking about. You need to go look at the statistics. The mount has a .01 or a 1% chance to drop out of 100.

I could solo this place with ease with my 9000 hp enhance shaman back in BC, I finally got Rivendares charger after 5 long days of grinding the place. the upside of all that grinding is that it paved the way for me to get the first half of my crusader title before wotlk was released and I made over 6000 gold from runecloth, blues, epics and green items and a bunch of other stuff that dropped
