this song, from the album the crimson idol, is part of a concept - if you're not familiar with it, it has this really sad story about a kid that was never accepted by his parents and runs away after his brother was killed in a car accident. he sees a guitar in a shop and decides he's gonna be a rock star and meets up with a man that promises more than he delivers. for all the riches and fame the guy gets, he never got the love of his parents and hangs himself with his own guitar strings.
