  • I see the problem, she is flat in some area's of the song.... she needs to listen to herself... I think she needs to relax a little too. I can tell she is nerves. One thing she does have going for her and that is her Beauty.

  • Yup, a little voice training and some practice beforehand would have helped a lot here. Of course, to be fair this take might have been at the end of a gruelling concert when her voice was tired .... Still, it's a fascinating song and Bonnie sang it and still sings it best.

  • anyone has suzie mcniel's version??

  • No dynamics, Flat all over the place, SUCKS

now I know why they stopped shooting

elephants and put them on the endangered

species list. I find it very hard to listen to anything suffering in pain. Better luck next

    time, I heard practicing helps.

  • @Dyanderringer i heard not being a pretentious prick helps. u're not simon cowell. u're not funny. oh, and you suck at being cool.

  • It's Ok...very flat...Ok attempt...too little emotion...its NOT RAW enough.this is supposed to be a heart wrenching song.

  • why does she look so familiar?

  • Great rendition, right up there with Maria Bello's. Soulful with nice vibratto. Voice has experience and depth, and strength.

  • @lightlyone maria bello? isnt that the lady from ER? She sings? lol.

  • uhhh, false notes...

  • ew flat.

  • Pretty girl. Listened to Bonnie live (with Hornsby on keys) and the GM studio production here. Bonnie 1, GM 0. Sorry GM fans.

  • @757optim Listening to this, my first thought was how George Michael is the only other artist that can do this song justice. This version just stinks. Is she a singer or a mode... I can't tell.

  • @supercooled U obviously dont Know jack about singing.. Heres a tip if U aint got nothing nice to say stfu!

  • I like Deanna, but as far as covers for this song, I think Suzie McNeill did the best job overall.

  • It's okay. Some nice parts but all in all so so.

  • her G's are killing it. her voice is so nice though :(

  • The best is ADAM LAMBERT singing this...his heart is in this song......you will cry when you hear him sing this.

  • @mberanek1 where can I find it?

  • Terrible, sorry. Wrong genre for her. And Bonnie has BY FAR the best version ever. It was written for a middle aged woman. If you don't get that, then you have not listened to the words and the way Bonnie sings it. It is SAD and she is the ONLY one that ever got it right. ALL other versions are too fast and upbeat. GM is a great singer but he missed the IDEA of this song.

  • Sorry but I don't like this version at all.She just doesn't have the voice to sing such a powerful song.

  • George Michaels is the definitive version

  • HOrrible.

  • She smokes, I'm guessing. And yes all who say she is flat are correct- not that I am an expert or anything but I agree is what I am saying. And She does not have a good voice- I would not buy an album of hers, she does not move me. Harsh but true. and to those who say Bonnie's version is better- WTF? Have u not heard the perfection in GM's vocals-heard being the operative word kind of answers my question though- maybe you dont have a musical ear?!lol! Bonnie's is 2nd to his. FACT!.

  • The beginning of every single note is all breath. I mean, I know that can be a certain vocal style, but I wonder if she could even control the breathiness if she was asked to. My vocal coach would have have her head on a platter. Plus, is it just me, or is she flat?

  • fuck your vocal coach

    she is prety good

    better than bonnie

  • this is not good at all

  • I can only imagine where those tits will be in a few shorts years.

  • She's flat. I mean her voice is flat.

  • GEORGE MICHAEL SINGS THIS SONG (ORIGINAL)!!! LOOK IT UP!!! Everyone else just jacks this song. They cant even sing it like GM!! no one can!! ever!!!

  • Its actually written by Mike Reid and Allen Shamblin and sung by Bonnie Raitt get ur facts strait.

  • @cawuk it IS Raitt's version

  • George Michael's dumb ass didn't originally sing this. His COVER of Bonnie Raitt can't even hold a flame to hers.

  • Was she singing? With all that cleavage, I forgot to pay attention.

  • her voice is too low

  • she is very pretty, but pretty much off key through the whole song. Love her vocal sound, although she needs to start feeling the music instead of following the band.

  • plz look at the clip when I sing this and leave a comment. <3

  • I don't get Deanna's Version. Dilanna on the other hand, I would love to see what she can do with this song.

  • ... this is bad. Very, very flat.

  • She gave it a good try, but it was not the best I have heard.

  • I liked this

  • love this sad sad song...but she did great justice though..

  • gosh...this is really bad! I mean really really bad. Are you deaf? For comparison lister to George Michael cover... that's singing!

  • George Michael? You're joking, right? GM has a few good songs, I admit it, but this is not one of them. Bonnie's version, the original of course, was the best, until a little guy, with the best voice ever, dared to sing it. Go ahead and look for it, his name is Will Downing. And by the way, Deanna's version is not that bad, probably with a better arrangement, because her voice is beautiful.

  • Nah not feelin' it!

  • Love it !!!!!

    So very true...

  • Deanna your amazing!

  • Definitely not her best. I really like Deanna, and I think she did well rising to the challenge INXS put in front of her when they gave her this song. This was an OK performance for someone who doesn't make this type of music.

Check out Long Train Runnin'. That was one of my favorite performances out of both seasons of Rock Star.

  • This was a very un-INXS-like song. I thought this was a terrible choice for anyone on the show to sing. Great song, but just not here. Deanna was the most "star ready" on the show IMHO.

  • I don't see what you guys are whining about. This is a nice arrangement that suits Deana's voice. Why would you even want Deana to try and copy Bonnie's vocals? The whole point of a cover version is to do it differently!

  • Keep in mind, she didn't choose this song. Deanna is a power rock singer. Her performances bring down the house, but she needs songs where she can belt it out and work the stage.

  • well if you people just know music you could actually determine that the song was rearranged that's why the nots are quite different and not that she misses them...conclusion she is not a copycat

  • She really sucks. She sounds like she should've been able to sing this, but instead she makes all the notes really short and choppy! I agree that it doesn't give Bonnie justice! Turn it off!

  • Wow....she keeps missing notes....I cannot stand it any longer....does NOT do Bonnie justice.
