@fin8glr ~ you can throw Lyle Blackwood in there to. He only went on to become a member of the Miami Dolphins "Killer B's" bunch on defense during the early 80's.
I was at this game! I sat in the old wooden bleachers in the open end of old Memorial Stadium. As I recall it was a real shootout that the Colts managed to win with Bert Jones throwing a winning TD.
Bert was great.....rest in peace Ray Bob Oldham Baltimore Colts 4 ever! Go Ravens

It's amazing how Irsay sabotaged the Colts team. Off the top of my head, he let go of so many talented players:
Lydell Mitchell
Ray Chester
Freddie Scott
Stan White
Lyle Blackwood
Joe Washington
John Dutton
All of these players were key contributors on the '75 - '77 AFC East Champions and had the Colts on the verge of becoming Super Bowl contenders.

@Baltimorehop Good catch! Don't know how I forgot Lyle. He was one of my favorite players...
I think Ray Oldham also played for Detroit along with Stan White and Freddie Scott.

If Bert Jones had managed to stay healthy! Wow. What an incredible talent. One of the best to ever play the game. He was Elway before Elway.
