Hammer on is wile the string is vibrating on for example the fifth fret you quickly press on the forth fret so that the tone changes (don't play the string again just let it continue vibrating).

Pull of is exactly the opposite.

Let me know if you're able to play the song, I'm playing guitar since a week now and don't want to play happy birthday and that kind of shit so I'm practising this :P

from what i've heard, the difference is mainly in the threads and distance. The classical guitar has a short distance within the strings, so its better for strumming. The acoustic one has a larger space, meant for picking, but its good for struming too.

And second, acoustic guitars have steel strings, while the classical one has nylon strings.

If anyone notices a mistake in what i've just said, please tell me cuz i sure would like to know.
