I work in a big box retailer and last year they tried to push for United Way contributions. Their target was $3000 total for the store. That doesn't sound like much for a store that has sales of $1 million a week and has 300 employees, but it's ridiculous to ask for any contributions from people who are making minimum wage.

I never liked this show, I wasn't at all surprised when they canceled it. The comic strips themselves were rarely funny, why would it do well as a television show? But I do love the MinisodeNetwork. :)

I used to work for an 'integrated marketing solutions' company as a designer and production assistant. I had a small cubicle and a slew of dysfunctional co-workers around me, which somehow I endured on a daily basis. My boss was once a college quarterback, so he insisted on using football terms and analogies in all business discussions.

Relating to Dilbert isn't the issue, I just don't like it. I liked The Office (British and US), that show played truer to life for me, Dilbert rarely did.

Can't believe this even exists... I have a Dilbert Anthology myself, of various ways to approach and numb out the cubicle work so thriftily put in place for the workmen. It was funny because I knew how he felt, working with morons, in a stock company that creates and distributes morons--this show, however, like Family Guy, doesn't give you room to think.
