Wow. I can say just these words. I use dbForge Studio for MySQL and it also looks good but we need more references like this to understand how does it work.
If you can to review MySQL back up in dbForge Studio it will be good. Thanks.

Dear God, stop talking and just spit out the information. Why on Earth does everyone get so self-absorbed recording one of these videos that they pause excessively and drone on for unnecessary amounts of time. Just describe to us how to back up the MySQL database. Good God.
@IDrinkBatUrine For someones who's user name is ' I drink Bat Urine' bit strong I think - yeah wasn't to the point but one of the best tutorials out there
thank goodness for keeping this video online. I got a WordPress version 2.6.5 blog due for an upgrade and this video helped me getting step 1 done. Thanks.
Hellz yeah man, I wish I can give you a hug or buy you some beer...that was dope. My files are big and when I export SQL its only in the 300 KB range, is that okay? Normal in other words? SQL files saves all that information to such a low file? Interesting...just want to make sure I did save everything.
Perhaps a 'tute' on how to back up tables as well? I lost my entire site due to a hack. My CMS needs everything to run. Or perhaps I just don't understand.
I just had a scare with all my databases missing for multiple sites, all wp, so I decided it was time to back everything up. After reading pages of info I found your video and I am so thankful I did.
Thanks again for such a simple but very much needed video!!
Keep in mind that if you are using WordPress, there are plugins that can automatically back up your database for you at specified intervals. I use one called WP-DBManager.
I'm new to programming, but I want to back up a forum i created and post everything to a new folder on my hosting. Would this work for that, or is there another step?
I'm not sure. There may be additional steps to back up the forum however the procedure for backing up the MySQL database (or databases) should be the same as long as your provider uses PHPMyAdmin.
i am thankful for folks like you Tristan until a year ago i was computer illiterate and now i am a still learning C# programmer but some things still elude me thx bro if you got any for ubuntu those are much needed too lol
Nice video Tristan! .... I loved the way you illustrated everything, feels so simple. Just a question, I am moving some of my sites from one hosting to another and some of them includes ecommerce. For example, for one site I can logon to ftp and download everything and upload it to new hosting. Then do I need to export each database and import each one on the new hosting the same way?... Is there any one click solution through which I can restore all my databases? ... Thanks once again.
There may be a one click MySQL DB transfer solution, however this would probably depend on the web host's offerings. I am not familiar with any myself.
Photographer, I have a digital camera and I like taking snap shots often. Filmmaking, sounds yummy! .... so you can do great work via Youtube only. I like to ask a few questions regarding you tube video recording only. If you like, we can chat via msgr!
