  • I learnt A LOT out of this, thanks man!

  • amazin demostration, thanks a lot man!

  • i had no clue about the modes man, excellent stuff

  • got one for christmas today. i have yet to put it down.

  • Wow...were you born in a Kaosspatch ? I mean, how the #%&@ else do ya learn that (assuming ya got no factory ties...ya must come from a Kaosspatch to have such knowledge). Thx for sharing !!

  • is the third on the manual??

  • I always understand "retick the battery status". Can somebody explain that? I'm not gifted with a great english vocabulary :)

  • @MrNicecar re-check =)

  • 16 Bar Mode = Me not doing any Housework

  • i get an error when doing screen tests... help

  • trumpets are WAY to much towards the middle, but nice tips, thanks a bunch.

  • I found a "secret" to the Kaossilator; I don't know if anybody noticed it before. Go to program d.84, tap anywhere along the top edge and wait. It produces a feedback rising in tone. To cancel it, drum anywhere else or change the program.

  • @Dracopol Oh, and I demonstrate that near the end of my 4th Kaossilator video.

  • @Dracopol yes, I stumbled into it, it also works with the chimes and 3 others. It, the particular drum 84, is a very nice function...my personal favorite.

  • "Cow slater?"

  • @Helslinky

    LoL!

  • @Helslinky Haha. He should pronounce it like "Chaos" + "Oscillator".

  • @Helslinky HaHaHa

  • thanks so much for your reply, i'll be on the look out for more stuff from you

  • excellent vid, great info, i am trying to decide between the kaossilator and the ds-10 / nintendo rig

    thanks!!

  • FTDS... go for the kaossilator. it is more of a real synth than a toy. i use it in a lot of my songs.

  • this is making me buy one today. thank you.

  • Thanks for the tips

  • Cheers pal, good video!!

  • Thank you, Pål Bang Hansen. I like how you say button. "Badam".

  • Best video instruction!

By the way: Do you know if it is possible to calibrate X-Y pad by the user?

Also do you have now new knowledge about last few "options" in test mode?

  • I think it should be possible with some in depth investigation and the right equipment, but i wouldn't recommend it because i think there's not much to gain there.

about the last options in the test mode, i still don't have any idea =(.

  • Thanks!!

  • gracias camarada!

  • hey, i checked out your kmod video, cool stuff - it's classic circuit bending....but this video is super old news dude, all the hidden features are well documented on youtube/internet way b4 these videos were up...

one note though, by modding the ko-1 it looses it's handheld appeal. i use it on stage sometimes, hung around my neck.

having a seperate box kinda sux(from a practical point of view) i'll wait b4 modding until i see some really useful "new features" - that out wiegh the cons...

  • dude thank you so much for this modes! they are really helpfull!

  • That was really useful. Thanks a lot!

  • You have the greatest accent =D

  • thank you =)

  • catmuziek

  • Very useful, especially the 16-beat mode and the clipping demo. I use one of these in almost all my music, but didn't know about 16-beat mode. Thanks!

  • people like you are replacing forums as the main way to find inside information on musical instruments. Thanks for all your hard work.

  • thanks man.that was very useful indeed..and you're right..cutting isnt very easy..thanks again and hope you post more useful stuff

  • cutting is easy as hell, i find as long as you have a good sense of the beat, you can do it almost mindlessly..

  • You are the man.

  • Great job. You are Darwin of Kaossilator! Thank you***

  • thank you!

  • good videos, thanks

  • You rule! This is it!

  • You the man...thanks a million for this helpful info.

  • Excellent work, didn't know those modes existed. Thank you very much.
