Is there any way to punish kabal's 'Nomad Dash' trap!? I sometimes pick Kabal, then my opponent chooses him also, and if i loose my mix up he starts, what's the best way to punish him with any character? please help!
Look dude these combos arent that advanced like this video says its just a tutorial o introduce you to kabal i seen and played wit so much more advanced kabals then this one and these kabals killed me like in one air juggle combo man lol
maybe its just me but i can't get how to do the jump kick + gas blast. I really tried millions of time to jump kick then gas blast but the blast doest comes out..
good video bro i try the last days kabal my problem is i make combo 31% i try to add x-ray and it give me 34 % only idon't know why when i make 25-30% with ermac and it give with xray 50% ihave a video you can see.
Dude i found something you might like .. no enhanced no x-ray... Mid screen i can do 40% Works on the girls i assume it does on the men too. Test this out :
jumptorwards punch, back 1,2,1 dash, back+1, dash, forward+4, back - forward+4 (the preceeding two parts are the key to this technique ...the knee hits at such a low state the spindash hit the oponent and is he's not float anymore he's counted as standing) jumptorwards punch, back 1,2,1 , dash, forward 3, 2, Down back 2 ...40% try it ^_^
Were you using auto block? Because I can't seem to link a jumping punch into anything but an uppercut. The computer always blocks after the jumping punch.
@BigJ347 linking combos to jump punches is huge in this game. treat the jump punch like a part of the combo (because it is). Your inputs should have no pause.
@iamtehzuul - That's not a command grab. A command grab is a grab that goes through anything even blocking opponents ( Like cyrax's command grab). His overhead grab can be blocked by standing block.
Do you use a regular ps3 controller or an arcade stick? You do this combos pretty easily. I've been training with kabal but I cant get passed 30%. But really I'm still waiting for part 2. Upload more videos man this are great.
How come you haven't made more videos? I love this combos and kabal is my favorite character. You were one if not the first to post kabal combos but I'm still waiting on part 2.
the 1:11 ---> is something I just can't do. :E I cant get the gas blast so fast after the kick, no way. (tried for like 40 minutes and getting boring.)
@racXXI actually you can. Train harder man, that's the only advice I can give you right now. How are you doing the kick - blast? I assume you do j. back kick back punch.
@racXXI Yeah it's hard. I did it once out of extended amounts of practice I just got lucky lol. I think u just have to be like super fast with the back back punch instantly after the kick.
@racXXI Believe me when I say it CAN be done, you just need to be really fast with your thumbs, it took my about twenty minutes to get it right, now I feel like I've been doing it for ages.

@CircleMasher I think I kwow what you mean. If you do the nomad dash a little late, you get oponent to spin closer to ground and I think it works as a reset as well. Will give it some try and try to post it. Thanks!
damn I can't perform the jump kick then gas blast, the blast always misses. I can only do the jump punch then gas blast but that makes a significant difference in the damage.
@ThaKang0f713 the easiest way to do it, and this is coming from actual game tester from nether realms is, that you can buffer, by buffer i mean warm up the attack before initiating it.
So when jumping at the opponent, press back-back- while in the air then press FK immediately following with FP, its easier to just slide from X to square. Practice up on it and you should get it in no time. The skill comes from learning when to kick to change velocity in the opponents fall to link combos.

@NiceHatVeton havent been able to figure that out either. I've seen other vids where people perform same movs but get diff damage. Are you punching Kratos as well?
@rteruyas Im actually on the 360 version of the game and used Liu Kang. Perhaps it was one of those "in-game updates" the game has that the ps3 version hasnt gotten yet cause of PSN being down. Or do the characters have different amounts of health like in MVC3?
@rteruyas. Hi mate, I was just wondering weather you are using a stick or a ps3 pad. If so which stick? I have a stick but only a cheap one and it feel cheap too. Im not quite used to it yet and i am still better with the normal pad. Can pull most of these combos off with the pad but i think i could improve if i got used to a decent stick maybe?
@l8nnchris I'm using a madcatz TE since I already had this one for SSF4. I found easier to pull combos using pad for MK at first, but after some practice you get used to the fightstick. I'd suggest go find someone you're comfortable with. Hori RAP SA or Madcatz TE are both good choices with high quality parts. Other than that, getting better depends on the user. Good luck man!

I had/still have the same problem, i'm not sure this is accurate, but it worked a few time when I did an air kick really close to the ground, so my guess is, don't kick immediately, wait till you're almost touching the ground and then do an air fireball. Hope this helps
you've mastered him quite well...... i think his MK:Deception combos are alot better... if you have your opponent in the corner you can pull his hooksword pop up combo 5 times for a total of 15 hits and a 42% damage!!!
Good shit, I've been a Kabal Master since MK3... I seriously hate the fact that Kratos is in this game though, it should be strictly MK characters... iMO

I am hoping for the biggest, fastest, baddest... stright up best kratos fan to challange me on his best day. I hope that Kratos is programed to be stronger than my MK fighter. @tindanian this games probably one of the easiest modern fighting games to pick up and play, obviously what this guy is doing it tough but pretty much anyone can do it thats why i freakin love it, online matches will be more balanced and fun rather than complete one sided like saaaay street fighter
Really what I want to know now, is what moves are best used with Kabal to get out of tight situations when someone has you in a corner in a combo... Or even what to do in order to get a fast combo going after letting go of block, because it seems that it takes forever for your character to stop reeling from a blocking position...
does anyone know the difference between the regular nomad dash and the enhanced nomad dash? Neither does any damage and both the normal and enhanced make them spin for the same amount of time. The enhanced version seems useless, unless its bugged and is supposed to do damage.
I can't connect jk to air fireball after the launch combo. I always have to go for jp to air fireball, since it tends to miss when I do JK. Do you have any tips/advices? thanks in advance.
@NarcolepZZZZZ after jumping do back kick and inmediately another back FP to do gas blast inmediately. I'm not able to perform it 100% right now, but it's worth the damage

@megatr3d0gg It'd be too OP to be able to perform it middle screen. It's true that most people dont stay in the corner, but I noticed that playing kabal and connecting combos is really a hard pressure. One way or another, your opponent will end against the wall.

On the very last combo you should use his regular grab as opposed to the command grab, it does more damage and is easier. But nice video. :)

Hell yeah, still nobody knows the 42% combo that I did. It doesn't involve the corner, wasting meter or the xray.

Im confused the combo that does 35% damage at 1:11 mark only does 30% damage when I do
