  • As a Christian myself, I stand up to correct my fellow believers. This Cardinal must be corrected or risk gaining to himself a curse. The security wall/fence is an absolutely necessity as an impliment for Israeli security against suicide murderers. This is a fact. The incidents of suicide bombing has greatly decreased because of the fence/wall. Many so-called Christians these days show their ignorance and rebellion against the God of Israel, as does the liberal Jimmy Carter. Repent one and all!

Collective Punishment is not justified Morally, Legally or Religiously.

  • @omar2000089 It doesn't seem to me that the topic here is about "collective punishment" It is about the validity of the security wall/fence. Which is necessary to keep out terrorists. If this wall contributes to the suffering of others that are not terrorists, then there is nothing that can be done about this, except for the Palestinians to stand up "collectively" with one voice, and to denounce terrorism against Israel. They refuse to do this and they only condemn the security wall.

  • @SeeksOnlyJesusChrist

Let me know when the Israeli Government listens to it's people and Finally recognizes the Right of Palestinians to exist and Have a Palestinian State. Israel uses the "Terrorist" arguement in order to build MORE settlements and steal MORE Palestinian Land. In the History of Mankind, when have you known Colonialism not to produce insurgent Violence ?

  • The good Cardinal should stick to what he knows best -- narrating midnight Mass -- and leave politics to the professionals.

  • So if you say the wall is not the answer, then what IS the answer, Cardinal?

  • The answer is to destroy the apartheid wall, or to at least move it to the legal borders so that it wouldn't seem as obvious as a land grab as it is.

  • Never heard of this Cardinal, who is he exactly?

  • Cardinal Foley was the President of the Pontifical Council for Social Communications in the Holy See for over 20 years, and in 2007 he was made a cardinal and appointed as the Grand Master of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem.
