@7haruka The official stated reason was Mika was right at the height limit of 150 cm ... but the real reason was she was not 100% Japanese ... The Japanese are very bigoted about such things. Junjun and LinLin joined Morning Musume from China ... and were very talented, but were relegated to the outside of the singing group and for their first years were not given a single word to sing .. just the ooh and uhs ... Mika is so pretty where as Mari, Aibon and Nono are incredibly cute.

Mika Todd is the girl dressed differently and from Hawaii. And no, the 'reason' why she's always dressed differently is because she's exactly at the height limit for MiniMoni.

But I find it a little offensive that they dressed her, normally, in red, white, and blue. Which is why I don't suspect the height limit to be the only reason she was dressed oddly.
