  • Happy Birthday Brian

  • You will forever be missed.

  • pat was brians girlfriend so she knew that brian was a goooooood swimmer!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • could not swim

  • after studying his personality and life i came to the conclusion that he killed himself because he was kicked out of the band. the band was his life.

  • @gus23a kill himself by drowning? Are you being funny? Never tried it but I think it's impossible. He didn't swim in the Pacific Ocean. It was just a small pool. :D

  • but seriously .. Brian was always STONED on something .. look at any video .. poor soul .. completely lost

  • brian...I miss u...hope ur fine...we love u

  • el mejor mas hermoso stone ,te amo brian todos los dias de mi vida pienso en ti que dios te bendiga

  • All the best stars die at 27... Morrison, Hendrix, Joplin, Cobain...... The proof is in the pudding!

  • Original Rock n Roll angel

  • The poem at 2:58 was written by Jim Morrison of the Doors I believe, strange how he say's he doesn't want to die like Brian did and yet Brian died on JULY 3, 1969 aged 27 whilst Jim died on JULY 3, 1971 aged 27.

  • Jagger has stolen and plagerized other songs, so why should this be any different.

He has been sued on numerous occasions by people he has lifted songs from. Talk to Ry Cooder, (whom Richards and Jagger ripped off) and he has very unflattering things to say about them and also he witnessed the way they were treating Brian, when he recorded with them.

  • loved this tribute...thank u 4 looking out 4 brian....another fan.

  • Gone, but never forgotten.

  • Listen carefully to the words, this song says it all. Who knows what he could have accomplished, had he lived.

  • to me the only real rolling stone, rip B.

  • A very talented musician, I always liked his smile in the old black and white videos of the Stones.....a very sweet smile when the camera was on him.

  • You Mick n' Keef fans act like the Stones are still relevant. They followed Brian's blueprint to the top. After they sacked him, they were carried by the great guitar of Mick Taylor. They forced him out by crediting themselves for songs he had a hand in writing. Just look at their output AFTER Jones and Taylor, when Mick n" Keef were truly in control . Sucking in the 70's, absofuckinlutely! And 80's, 90's etc.

  • really guys even though he started the band jagger and richards is where all the talent is. if im wrong explain the bands continued success after his death

  • @country123424 Probably because they won't go away. I don''t want to go to a r&r concert performed by men in their dotage. Brian was the rolling stones. After he died, they were not the same band and never could be.

  • ruby tuesday was a groupie the stones knew

  • @percy123100 Linda Keith, who dumped Keith Richards for Jimi Hendrix (whom she discovered in New York and gave him one of Keith's guitars) was not a groupie. She also became Brian Jones girlfriend. Keith and Brian wrote this as a swan song to her. She has for many years been married to British musician, John Porter, a session musician.

  • I don't know many who haven't been an asshole at some point and time in their life.

  • Happy Belated b-day Brian, it's always your b-day for your beloved fans....

A beautiful guy, bit of a misogynist though.....

  • Happy Birthday Brian! You are my favourite Stone...

  • Happy Birthday Brian

  • the stupid old fuzzy of keith said in his book that brian was n ass maybe true genious people are assholes specially with their coworkers but when you have friends like lennon and hendrix you are in another level keith was a big donut next to brian that s why he still hate him

  • I loved things about Brian but the Stones will attest he was pretty mean to women.

  • Is that photo at 1:06 photo shopped??... cause i noticed brian was holding something with the "Logo lips" ...I thought the Logo came later after bran`s death

    ..... or am i mistaken?

  • Oh yeah, the book Keef wrote. Keef slept with M. Faithful, then told her it was Mick who really loved her all the while plotting to steal Brian's girl, Anita. What a bandmate! Since Brian isn't around to defend himself ask Mick what he thinks about "Life".. Mick has said Keef is a bitter man who "stretches" the truth at times. As far as Brian being an asshole by nature there are plenty of friends of his who never saw that side of him. Maybe Brian was just being an asshole to the assholes. bla!

  • To all the people who are saying how wonderful Brian was... really didnt know him. According to Keith Richards book, he was actually kind of an asshole by nature. Go ahead and thumb me down and reply angrily to me bla bla bla.

  • @Maxnned I was hoping if Keith stayed with Brian's girlfriend ?

  • brian jones made the stones /mick&keef a couple of pure assholes

  • A tragic loss. Most memorable and loved guy

  • Brian never got the recognition he deserved, did he? He should be revered all around the world just for being the founder of The Rolling Stones and yet some "fans" don't even know he existed.

Anyway, R.I.P. Brian Jones, you were a very talented guy and I hope you're having fun wherever you are.

  • i am pretty sure keith help write this or least the words

  • he invented the stones and he was fired!!!!f**** off mick and keith!!!!

Jim Morrison always loved Brian and hated jagger!!!!

  • Brian Jones is the original Rolling Stone... He just invented the concept to be a rock star.. I love you Brian, hope now you're good wherever you are...

  • @Stonealone87 and not only...he founded the rolling stones!!! are not rolling stones without brian!!!

    "Requiem for a heavy

That smile That porky satyr's leer has leaped upward into the loam"

    Jim Morrison to Brian

  • Great portrait.....Thank you!

  • Brian was the magical element in the Stones. Following his lead the band became huge to the point where they could rightfully claim to be on a par with the mighty Beatles. After he was replaced the Stones began to slide towards mediocrity. Bands like The Who and Led Zep began to steal their thunder. Mick Taylor was great but even he left feelling underappreciated. The Stones output after 1974 got stale. Refried Berry licks, lame disco and ill advised new wave. Mick and Keef should be ashamed.

  • This is one of my favorite songs by the Rolling Stones! It's a classic!

  • BRIAN WAS A GENIUS, HE WAS WAY AHEAD OF HIS TIME. HE WAS THE 1ST TO EXPERIMENT WITH DRUGS,HE WAS THE 1ST TO EXPERIMENT WITH NEW INSTRUMENTS, HE EMBRACED NEW CULTURES.

  • This is my favorite Rolling Stones song! It's a classic!

  • Brian Jones is a great artist and will always be my favorite stone!!!!

  • I dont beleive he couldnt write. He could. He wrote a soundtrack and he started this off with Keith. Drugs can hamper some and inspire others. Eventually drugs strangle your creativity. Being in a band with two egomaniacs who were hellbent on control woukldnt have helped his insecurities. He was still young when he died and his best years were still ahead. He hadnt really done anything yet. As weird as that sounds...

  • what became of the golden stone that gentle soul who stood alone who could play but could not write and charm the darkness out of night when we look back and remember the man who did not wait forever Ruby Tuesday came and went never was the credit lent even though his body spent his spirt still stays with us yet for martyred or lost whatever the reason he will find his due in season here's to the founding stone raise a toast to Brian Jones!
  • @Taconic66 Hear, hear! The truth always catches up sooner or later.Brian's time has come.

  • @gio73vanna I hope so

  • Such a great tribute to a genius.

  • Why would we not be respectful ?

  • drgonzo613>u rules man!!!____nice job....

  • I grew up listening to the Rolling Stones. They are still here!!! Only,i do not know about Brian Jones... as funny as it sounds. My neighbor friend was named Brian Jones... i always thought they were talking about him.

  • This is a great tribute. Thanks for posting it.

  • This is priceless. Beautiful. Thank you for posting.

  • he had the coolest hair ever.

  • Brian will always be one of my few treasured idols. I would have Loved to meet him. What a tremendous talent! Lewis Brian Hopkin Jones (28 February 1942 – 3 July 1969)

  • I Love this video thank you for posting! R.I.P. Brian jones

  • He sure got the short end of the stick... no doubt. RIP Brian

  • Brian we love you! And thanks to other ppl who love you too for keeping your memory alive and for you HUGE contribution to rocl n roll! You delvered genious to music and with out, we never would have the greatest rock n roll band aive.

You branded your gifts of music and taste that is timeless.

    You will always be beautiful!

    luv

    gilly.

  • What a tortured, messed up, intelligent, talented man! Suffered from depression...maybe bipolar? Drugs and alcohol don't mix with a fragile mental state....the stones were the best when he was with the band....

  • @sixteen2025 Bill Wyman thinks he may have been slightly epileptic. Chronic drug taking and drink wouldnt mix with that either

  • R.I.P. Mr. Jones....Cheers to you.

  • When he passed away the stones needed to step up the hype option as opposed to

letting the music speak for itself.

  • hey brian blow me ill even play otis records if you want

  • BRIAN ""THE BRAIN"" JONES

  • REALLY WITH CONVICTION I WILL SAY: HE WAS GENIUS .

  • That is the sweetest most heart touching tribute to a man.

  • Thank you for sharing!

    RIP Brian Jones. <3

  • July 3 is my birthday. But it was Brian's death day. Still we're gonna miss him...

  • I love brian and i loved this video :)

  • Such a wonderful job you did with this, love the colours you added too.

  • The recorder is hauntingly beautiful, and only Brian Jones could have pulled that off!

  • What a beautiful song. I believe that Keith wrote the lyrics and that Brian helped him write the music. Mick has admitted that he loves the song but that he had nothing to do with the writing of it. Brian also plays the piano and the recorder on it according to the credits on Forty Licks. Thanks for posting this.

  • No encuentro el video original de esta cancion.

  • Dying all the time

Lose your dreams and you may lose your mind...

  • @ModGirl1967 Thnk u for illuminate me that this song is all about Brian!

  • @Bnesque Brian was Brian, flaws and all, such a talented natural musician.

  • @ModGirl1967 Yes, such a great musician. and with all his flaws and enormous sensitivety he was who he was and very beautiful person!

  • fucking perfect!!!

  • Brian is god

  • The best tracks of The Stones were done in the Brian Jones era.

  • Here's another heart-centered Stone song...

  • Goodbye. Who could hang a name on you?

  • adorable

  • This is great! Particulary love the Brian pic at 2.04! I love the stones but especially love them in the Brian Jones years! I think he had it all! They had more appeal back in his day! RIP Brian.

  • Amazing Brian Jones

  • This is one of the best songs to show off Brian's talent. Love it. Pics are great too. He was very talented. Such a loss and such a waste.

  • Beautiful Song written by Brian and stolen by Jagger and Richards. We really miss you Brian. Much love from your fans.

  • @mullerk2

    proven by..?

  • brian jones era lo rolling stones

  • Lovely fitting tribute to Brian. I agree with ledzepellinzoso92 that the Rolling Stones with Brian was the best era. Music changed after he left though I do like some post Brian stuff. I'm amazed to see how many teenage fans he has, particularly from South America.

  • i miss brian ............

  • This was lovely, Brian was lovely.

  • you need to chill the fuck out and check into a mental institution.

  • You re a Dick!!!

  • the rolling stones with brian was the best time, and jagger and richards didnt kill him.

  • butchpinkston what the fuck is wrong with you, if you say that then there is something wrong with you. FUCK YOU!

    Brian Jones is a legend(:

  • he was the true and best Rolling Stone!

    RIP Brian

  • Roger That!!!

  • self destruction tragedy...Damn you fools..keep youselves alive....

  • Jones was the one who started the 27 Club. Other best-known musicians who died at the same age are Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, and Kurt Cobain. Even more ironic, they all took too many drugs and had a problem with it.

  • Tragic story... beautiful song.

  • We couldn't believe it! This was the biggest sorrow ever : at the time we thought we would live for ever, death was just not in our minds ! Once, in Ibiza, I watched the sunset and saw

his face in the sun - I was captured by some square rich peoples miles away from town- and.. fall fully dressed in a sweaming pool ! Strange !

  • Brian Jones is God!!!!!!!

  • go to see shine a light

  • Brian Jones = Rolling Stones ..

Brian Jones Dead .. = Rolling Stones .. Too

  • miss him

  • I wonder if Brian was so arrogant as to not use birth control...or did these women want to get pregnant by the "big rock star"? Anyway, a brilliant musician.

  • ...descansa en paz Brian...

  • dope sucks

    still

    life is forever

  • The most Music from the Rolling Stones are from Brian Jones.

    Jagger/Richards haben es verheimlicht.

    RIP

  • Despifarran palabras la musica no es echa para debatirla contra otros artistas ... no ahi mejores ni peores.. cada uno con su estilo... la musica es lo mejor que tiene el mundo y esta echa para disfrutarla es la mas mistica escensia del universo....

    brian jones gran musico

    !!VIVAN LOS ARTISTAS!!!

  • charter member of the 27 club

  • His recorder makes the while song. What a tragic waste of talent.

  • Today, his death is still mysterious.

  • Brian Jones was murdered. Frank Thorogood his builder at the time confessed to his murder on his death bed.

  • Brian Jones is forever!

    I love him so much.

    He is a genesis.

This is great thank you for posting.

  • Its a shame, but I think at that time there young age played a role in his alienation from the band. These where all immature kids back then. Friendships tend to be fleeting, especially when that kind of attention and fame are riding on who is percieved as being in control of the band. Initially Brian had that control, but the song writing partnership destroyed him. The bands dynamic was wrapped up in mick, keith and brian. The other two where never considered a threat.

  • aguante brian jones ♥

  • By the way, that quote at the end is by a certain Pete Townshend

  • i will always love him.

  • The XX century hast to thank Brian for creating the best Rock 'n Roll band of the world... and certainly the only one who has been able to be comparable to The Beatles

  • Hott!! love Him

  • brian jones sigue vivo en nuestras mentes y en nuestro corazones!!!.

es un idolo, i love brian jones ..!!♥♥

es un groso ,te felisito por tu comentario....

  • Please be respectful

  • I LOVE BRIAN JONES and can appreciate his great talent not only as a master of many instruments he started it all, J/r took all credit and made him into what became his nightmare. if he had more time to make another group it would have blasted them all. anyone know how to get pics of this icon? reply to me.

  • wonderful video. Brian is greatly missed. Peace.

  • Brian was so beautiful!

  • That photograph of Brian with the picture in his mouth is so hot! mmmmm! :D

  • BORN to DIE;true rock n roll destiny

  • sin duda, Brian era

el mejor de todos los Stones.

Ojalá estuviera vivo, realmente desearía haberlo conocido.

  • Many Biutifull Flowers for Brian Jones ... In the Sky !

  • Brian was so sexy

  • Awesome video!!!

  • God Bless Him!

  • Dichas, you are so correct. Mick & Keith will never acknowlege Brian. That's why I really cant stand them. I believe it was a conspiracy to murder him & cover up his death because Brian still owned the rights to the stones name & clearly they wouldnt had been able to use the name if he was kicked out the band.

  • interesting theory i never heard that, but i certainly would entertain the notion. Was this theory ever pursued by anyone in Brian's camp?

  • we missed you a lot Brian ...!!!

  • Why I didn't born in Brian's time?

  • Amazing....thank you. A tortured, but talented, soul with a passion. Like a rose, too fragile to last long. RIP, Brian.

  • one of the gratest and a true toriginal, i'm realy drunken but i' love him even if i'm not gay

    dieing all the time !
