If I was in her position I would have told him to buy something or get the fuck out of the store and take that Bible-Thumping bullshit somewheres else!
Why do christians always feel the need to push their beliefs onto others? Just let people find spirituality on their own...it's not as if there aren't enough resources out there. I'm a supervisor at a Circle K and I would have told this guy to leave. It's a place of business where soliciting is not allowed. Monique was clearly uncomfortable with this and it's sad that you kept pressing the issue. She smiled and nodded because she is a nice person. Go back and ask her if she found Jesus. Doubt it
With all do respect I understand what your saying and it sounds good for a second but your guilty of doing the same thing. How bout you call me in 2 weeks and see if it did anything. doubt it. But you still have the right to share your opinion and in the same way a doctor would tell a patient he's sick and if its not treated will die. so i need to inform people that sin will send them to hell if they dont get the cure jesus. Christians are the means by where this truth is sent.
If a doctor tells a patient they will die unless they're treated, that's a fact. The Christian FAITH, along with any other FAITH has nothing to do with fact or truth otherwise it wouldn't be called FAITH. Don't get me wrong. Having faith in something is an amazing feeling but you can't tell me you believe in EVERYTHING the Bible teaches 100% right? I was raised Catholic (Baptized, first communion/confession, confirmation) and I gotta say, nothing made me into an atheist more that the Bible did.
@ruckuscollin Its from a passage in the New Testament that states that Christians need to spread the word of God. However, this was not written by Jesus, God, or anyone who was "inspired". It was written by church leaders who wanted fanatics to spread the message like a plague. It worked, sadly, and that portion of the world fell into a dark age.
That was really really good. Thanks for sharing. I like how you transitioned out of the conversation at the end also. I think All Christians should do something like this (without videoing) regularly at gas stations and minimarts- go to a new one every week!
