The reg counter is from the newbie quests where you have to gather 5 of various different regs. If you take those but do not finish them it always gives you a message when you gain or lose those types of reg.

I really don't know how long is good to stay in starter areas now. For the clan check out the Clan Recruiting sections on the official forum.

If it was me the first thing I'd do is start looking for a clan. After that try to level up melee, archery and lesser magic for the conversions. While you farm mobs skills go up very quickly now. With half decent melee and archery as well as the conversions you become useful in PvP.

We bank the loot we git but we made one little mistake and ended up in a situation where we had too many on us in a place where we couldn't escape. It didn't go into the vid as there was a really long boring bit before that. Still that hardly dented our mood, it was so intense and we knew there was a good chance we would die if made even one mistake but we wanted some spicy PvP. :D

It is one of the new bow transmutes. Since their introduction archery is much more viable for ranged combat. This added to three times faster skill gain on mobs, six times faster for base spell schools, and the news that AoEs will share a cooldown mean that the grind is much reduced.

As long I know that's elemental bow with fire dmg. They eased the grind in the patches and you skill up much faster faster on mobs so PvE is more attractive then it was before. Furthermore they lowered mobs' health, boosted their loot tables so PvE is lless tedious then before ( it still needs some work with some mobs IMO ). What's interesting now we have real community managers on the forums and Aventurine seems to be learning the ABC of PR.
