Man, oh man. What a woman! They just dont mak'em like Betty Davis, anymore: Beautiful, strong yet classy, spunky. What i'd give to have been her yankee man...

Very well done, she did have killer eyes.....always liked Bette Davis & this song as well.....Their was many movies she was in where she was slapping someone or shooting someone, you could have added that to when Kim was clapping......lol And I mean no disrespect or anything......
Some true 80's song (why does 80's music sounded like those video games) hmph. This is what the real music is all about beside today(well a little bit for today of the new music, I guess) Hmm these day.
Watching this while reflecting on all the images of her & her last few films before passing that I've seen, I feel a bit down... Like as I've actually watched a the life of a young, exotic beauty begin, mature & age with limited grace, and then pass-away before my very eyes. I feel myself gaining an appreciation of the existence of individuals while they're present, if you can dig what I mean. Bravo!
This song always takes me back to those warm afternoons in Acapulco, I was only 11 when I heard for the first time, and I also remember SEVEN UP used it for one of its tv commercials for Mexico!!!
Finally a real song, where is the real music these days with all this rap and hip hop shit... WANNABES. Anything on MTV is just poser and wannabe music.
Back in the days when Hollywood was Hollywood. Bette Davis was a wonderful actress, as were a number of others from that period. There aren't many actresses around nowadays who can act the way she did. They just don't have the same class or charisma she did.
Yes, it was definitely a different era. I think that the Hollywood of that time had much more appeal & it was a more glamorous world than the Hollywood of today. I also feel that the actors & actresses just don't have the same charisma as those from back then. That's just my opinion of course.
I think it's like eyes that look right through you, piercing eyes, or someone whose eyes are the first thing you notice on their face...something like that...
Then I spent ages searching for the name of the song and when I found out, I went to youtube straight away! I fell in love with this song as soon as I heard it!!

now i know from whom madonna got many of her looks, from who else, betty davis, marilyn monroe and merlina dtck, but all of them are espectacular, thanks god,for them.
Her hair is Harlow gold Her lips sweet surprise Her hands are never cold She's got Bette Davis eyes She'll turn the music on you You won't have to think twice She's pure as New York snow She's got Bette Davis eyes And she'll tease you She'll unease you All the better just to please you She's precocious and she knows just what it takes to make a pro blush She's got Greta Garbo stand-off sighs She's got Bette Davis eyes
this song is eerie, but the woman doe's have nice eyes. michael jackson had unique eyes. someone should put one of michael's better pictures with bette davis' to see who had the most unique look in their eyes. but for goodness sake don't use a recent picture of mike!
Bette Davis Eyes" began life as a song co-written by Donna Weiss and Jackie DeShannon. A recording of it was included on Jackie DeShannon's 1974 album New Arrangement, but it was not until Kim Carnes released her version in 1981 that the song became a hit. kim carnes has a raspy yet cool, soothing voice. i agree with the rod stewart comment. very similar. its very unique. you deff know its kim carnes when you hear her. when she says, "just to please you" its very gentill. its a hard thing to pull off for a vocalist to be that diverse.
I think most of us were born in the wrong time...she was incomparable. And the photos are great. keithbarron was obviously drawn to one in particular and I think it's the best shot of her too.
