@deamonscape yes, because endstone spawns naturaly in the normal world and thats why they spawn there. no, its made of end stone because he is in the end.

I think to prevent them from suffocating in the corners, you have to delay NOT the Corner piston pressure plate combo but the one in front of it, that way both pistons are not extended at the same time causing the mob to suffocate. The delay will allow the mob to be pushed completely onto the next plate before its piston extends.

Hey @xisumavoid, you know how you talked about the corner pushers get stuck? I figured a way out, In my enderman farm I raise the pistons from 1 to 2 pistons, this will make sure that every enderman that gets stuck is crushed to death.

Also it does effect efficiency because when one gets stuck, and another falls on top of him he would not move.

@CraftPixel when they get stuck in the corner, but it can happen on any of the blocks, have you tried pushing them with glass? That would probably make it worse...

Perhaps you could place a water source block in the corner? Sure, it won't "push" the enderman, but they will teleport to a safe, non-water area which WILL push them? This is the principle I'm using to try out Endermen separation. (The pressure plates should allow one water source block to stay in place quite easily in your design too).
