my wifi became weaker and same for 3g, I looked it up in google and many people had the same problem. It turned out that i may have missed a small tiny metal part, that seemed like nothing, but was important. [w]ww.ifixit.C[.O.M]/Answers/View/42493/Weak+WiFi+after+repair
This tutorial didn't emphasize that, now my wifi is weak and same for 3g forever D': I can't even find the part anywhere.
@PuppyPuppyPup13 Not to worry!! This is a common problem our customers run into. You actually only have to give it some good force when pushing it back down. Lay your phone down flat on the palm of one hand and then use your other palm to really push down and out. Hope this helps!
Awesome how to video! Thank you. One question though.... Everything on my iPhone works fine except for Wi-Fi. Any ideas what I did wrong? I heard the snap and even opened it up to check on it. It seems connected.
I'm a 16 year old girl that knows absolutely nothing about this kind of stuff and was expecting to shatter my phone into pieces... I somehow managed to do this successfully. I'm highly impressed with myself right now... This has to count for something, right?! Thanks for the video though, helped a lot :)
i forgot to turn off the power when i first dissambled everything. now when i put everything back together, my computer recognizes the iphone, and the lights turn on for the iphone, except the screen is gray and i cant even see the apple logo.
could you please tell me how far i have to take apart my iphone to see the ribbon connects of the lcd, that says apple, so i can see if when i got it replaced that they put a genuine screen in it like they said they did, but it does not look that way. (it was by another company sorry ill try y'all if i break it again) thanks in advance!
after getting everything back in my screen is now completely while & my home button doesn't work.... what did i do wrong? :(

Does this whole process reset your iPhone and all of it's settings?

@curlyq02 No, it doesn't. It's a pretty time consuming job. Just don't rush it and stay calm.
