**Tip: you can use the door to open your nail polish if you're not worried about possibly making a nick in the cap of the nail polish. You just open a door in your house and put the nail polish cap in the gap made between the door and the frame (the side of the door where the hinges are is better). If you put it in the hinge side gap, opening the door will cause the door to grip the nail polish cap. Turn the polish and presto =)

THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME! and with that exact red in opi... hahah but what you do is take a rubber band and wrap it around the handle thing haha idk what its called and it will allow you to get a better grip.. it works wonders!

i have always had problems with opi polishes getting stuck. Sometimes I don't ever get to try the polish cuz its stuck immediately. I'm going to try the idea of boiling water and hoping it gets loose. but seriously OPI containers suck- glad to know i'm not the only one that goes through this

to get the OPI nail polish open you can either run it under hot water for a couple seconds or put on some dishwashing gloves (the rubber ones) and open the nail polish normally!! Both methods work every time for me!!

When you buy a new polish (or if you get the lid off that red) rub some oil (olive, mineral, anything will do) around the grooves on the bottle. No more stuck lids!

You should try warming up the OPI nail polish cap with warm water (Dip the polish cap in the the water for a while), a stove (open up the stove and hold your polish cap and kinda wave it on the the fire. Make sure u don't touch the fire) ,or a use blow dyer (Open the blow dryer and warm the cap up then open it). After you open it,wipe the area where the nail polish dried up with nail polish remover and then put vasaline on it so you can open it next time. MERRY CHRISTMAS!

My fav is the Santa suit one! Btw for the OPI nailpolishes, my manicurist suggested to out a few drops of nail polish remover at the bottom of the cap, and then tie a rubber band on the handle when they get stuck like that. Hope that works for u. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! xo

kandee i always have the same problem with my nail varnishes where the lid stick, just soak it in hot water for half an hour and it will loosen the varnish and it usually comes off, although nail varnish remover might work a little better, try it and let me know if it works:-)

OMG, don't EVER use your teeth to open nail polish, or anything for that matter!!!! That is so bad, and can damage your pretty teeth! Next time run the bottle under some hot water (as hot as it will go) for about 30 seconds to a minute.. and then tap the lid gently against a hard surface.. that should get that sucker right off! :-) Hope you have a Merry Christmas! Love your videos, keep them coming... but please don't damage your pretty teeth!

This is true about opi lids, I never gave it much thought until you mentioned about yours always sticking. There the only brand of polish that I've had that' lids stuck and I cannot get open. Seems crazy considering there £10.50 a bottle.

Put that OPI nail polish in a bowl of hot water for as long as you want. Just make sure to check every 5-10 minutes. The top should come off after a while of soaking! Hope this helps. Btw, you're super pretty!

Im doing the white Christmas nails, and the others on my nieces!!! Fun!!! You can also put a little vaseline on the polish bottle then screw the cap back on for the future...this should help! I agree that putting it in hot water works!:)
