I have had this phone for two weeks. I hate it.  Yes, it does work as an adroid phone quite well. It is so THICK. If you are a guy who keeps one's phone in their front pocket, good luck. In my eyes the keyboard is a gimmick. I found myself never using the tiny tiny keys. Most android phones you can speak into, or use swype. I have seen other phones with physical keyboards that are not as large as this one. Battery life pretty short.

I wasn't sold at first, and would have been better with a different UI (I don't like LG's shiny over stock android with random touches of LG here and there UI) then LG's. However, the implementation is cool. Texting and browsing at the same time? YES :D And it's nice. But not something that a lot of people would use that much. The keyboard seems fine, splits not bad on my iPad. I just think mid range hardware will attract people who will be confused by it and therefor hate it.

It looks ok, think the keyboard being split is something one would would have to get used to, but it's more Echo. Would make for a interesting Dogfight though, the first 2 dual screen devices, although the Echo would take it since it has to 3.5in screens at a high resolutions and more flexabilty since it's screens can multitask or just be one large screens device.

Its actually a pretty cool design, but I agree with Sydney, lets see if its practical though. 3 Things though --> 1) a slimmer profile, 2) a larger main screen with higher resolution, 3) a dual core processor would handle the multitasking much smoother. Nice review, but this is why lg is losing money. As far add cellphones go follow what others are don't and learn from mistakes that others have made. The echo had less than a 1 yr life, so why make something similar?
