@kingrex2005 It is also to self-right. When the bot gets flipped on it's side and it starts to spin, the angle of the pipe will propel it back upright.
@40KEndgame Megabyte was one of the most destructive fighting robots ever built. It retired a lot of robots including mine Evelyn a modified dawg I think this was the next event after that. It was Matt Maxham (Sewer Snake) that finally figured out how to consistently beat Megabyte You never box rush Megabyte you attack it slow so not to climb up its shell and get hit by the upper blades. If you can get under it you can run it into the arena walls. Boy did it tear up arenas as well Darn spinners
I actually feel sorry for the guys who built megabyte, having to fight the one robot that's the closest to perfect. Sure, it took some big hits this time, but that Biohazard is the same on from all the way back in 1997. The same one that defeated Nightmare and Vlad. The same one that survived Son of Whyachi (even though it still lost). There is NO other combat robot that has done those things and still fights today.
and to self right himself. As for the millions of blades, 2 or 4 are better so you can get a bigger bite / hit (more time passes per tooth = farther in you can dig in ).

Megabyte is an impressive fucking 'bot. I'd be interested to see it take on some of the UK robots, though i think he'd wreck most of them. HypnoDisc might be the right style and shape to take him out though.

Slamjob has gotten a lot better since the famous clip of it against Nightmare, and even then Nightmare technically also got knocked out by the blow. You're right about the strengths and weaknesses bit, though. The trick to making a winner is to have very few weaknesses.

its hard to build a spinner durable enough so that when it give a hard hit the motor doesn't get damaged, the megabyte team obviously had a very well prepared robot that probably would beat razer since one good hit from that robot and razer might not be able to take it I mean theres no where to razer to grab on and puncture, its just a spinning mass.
i like battlebots and robot war battles better then combat robot fights because the arena is plain in combat robot fights.(no offence) Still combat robot fights is still really cool.
I've not seen many videos of Megabyte in action although I was aware of its reputation as an excellent spinner - but having watched this vid I've finally realised what's so good about it. Despite numerous impacts that transfer as much energy through itself as to the opponent, it still keeps going! Most spinners usually break after two or three big hits - these guys have it sussed!

its hard to build a spinner durable enough so that when it give a hard hit the motor doesn't get damaged, the megabyte team obviously had a very well prepared robot that probably would beat razer since one good hit from that robot and razer might not be able to take it I mean theres no where to razer to grab on and puncture, its just a spinning mass.

i like battlebots and robot war battles better then combat robot fights because the arena is plain in combat robot fights.(no offence) Still combat robot fights is still really cool.

I've not seen many videos of Megabyte in action although I was aware of its reputation as an excellent spinner - but having watched this vid I've finally realised what's so good about it. Despite numerous impacts that transfer as much energy through itself as to the opponent, it still keeps going! Most spinners usually break after two or three big hits - these guys have it sussed!
