If the squirrel survives, (and I hope he does!!) I know of a guy who rescues & rehabilitates squirrels who would take him in if you need to find a home for him. Since he's away from his mother, obviously he cannot survive in the wild... I've rescued four baby squirrels so far, only 2 have survived and are now adults living with this guy who took them in for me. Contact me if you need someone great to care for the lil guy. what about the bird lady? is she still around? she was down off of old king's road near baymeadows. she used to take in birds, squirrels etc.

SQUIRREL UPDATE, 10AM SAT:

The squirrel is still hangin on. He is eating, and wiggling, and talking, and doing his "business". He even climbed out of his box on his own, twice. He really appreciates the concern generated on his behalf thanks to this video. Resident vet says his chances are slim, but he's beaten many odds thus far. Go, little squirrel, go!

The Squirrel is bundled up in a little box in my closet. I'm feeding it with replacement formula and antibiotics under a vets supervision.
